Pizza 500 in Brighton and Hove

Delicious pizza, friendly staff and great prices. Well worth a visit.

Sadly not as good as before. It used to be a really good 12" pizza, now it's the shape and size of a naan bread, burnt on the outside and soggy in the middle and not to mention the incredibly long waiting times.

An authentic Italian pizzeria, with a skilled italian owner/chef. Prices are reasonable. The pizza bases are thin, and taste amazing. They're made with proper stone ground flour, so they have a perfect texture and colour. One of the best pizza bases I've tasted in all my 51 years. And of course, you also get typical Italian hospitality and child-friendliness if you eat in.

I really really like Pizza 500. The pizza crust here is so good that you can almost eat it on its own with no toppings. This is a simple, no-nonsense place with a focus on the food. Really great value too. The Preston park area is greatly enhanced by their presence.

omg the pizza was AMAZING, was properly cooked in a pizza oven. the lady was so lovely and accommodating and the chef brought the food out himself. would 100% recommend, and great prices too x

We have eaten in this restaurant for years and the pizzas and the rest of the food are delicious. I’m longing for ‘normal’ to return so we can go again as a big family group. In the meantime we regularly order takeaways. The best way we found is to order through Messenger on Facebook and collect the pizzas ourselves. The pizzas are cooked to perfection with proper Italian toppings.

Brighton has stiff competition when it comes to pizzas and Pizza 500 make the best I've had! Delicious and a cut above. Open for takeaway during pandemic times. You should order. Also, incredible-home made gelato too!
