Pizza Express in Brighton and Hove

A little bit in love with the Brighton pizza express. The pizza is verrrry good and there's this absolute babe working there who helped me with my delivery order twice now. Just one thing, PE - please put the amaretto dessert on the official delivery menu. It's so good & I'll order it every time. If you're worried it'll be messy in the takeaway box, don't be; you could blend it for all I care :)

Went on a Saturday around 5:45. Very busy and incredibly loud. Why have the music blaring out so it makes it impossible to have a conversation? Food disappointing, pizza overcooked and dry, calamari not great. Waitress was very pleasant and apologetic about the food. Might try again at a less busy time.

Having been Pizza Express customers for years we decided to spend our Saturday evening here and set off from the other side of town noting that this location was advertised as being open until 11pm.We arrived at 9:52pm and were told that, sorry but we couldn’t come in as they’d stop allowing walk ins 7 minutes earlier and to go elsewhere. There were plenty of empty tables and given this was over an hour before closing time this didn’t sit right. After looking online I could see that bookings were still available for that evening and we pointed this out and were then ‘allowed’ in!Thankfully once we were in the service was charming and the food was of a good standard.

Always a delight. Friendly staff, restaurant very central. The Romana range of pizzas are light and crisp, not heavy and doughy, making the toppings more enjoyable.

Pizza express is a classic. It's always exactly what you need and expect and they handle gluten and dairy intolerance with ease. It's my go to pizza place for dining in.

Took a group of 15. Service was excellent, they were flexible with our booking when we were running a little late. Our waitress was attentive the whole time we were there and the food was very good, lovely pizza.

I would just like to say a big thankyou to all the staff for helping to make my son's 18th family get together so enjoyable. The restaurant were extremely flexible in accommodating our request to add a couple of extra people last minute and to put back our meet time slightly. Our waitress was also so friendly and helpful and the food, as always, was delicious. Thank you so much.

Absolutely appalling service, rude and unprofessional waiting staff, upon arrival got shown to a table right by the door asked if it was possible to move further in to avoid the cold from the door and got "no there's is fine" in response from a waiter not to mention the table is directly next to speakers blasting music full volume and a hanging sign which we hit our heads on multiple times. Waited 20 minutes to be asked about what we'd like to drink and no check back was done about the food nor were we offered anymore drinks and sat with empty plates on our table for a good 20 minutes. Really disappointing pizza express location wouldn't recommend you're better off heading to zizzi's across the road.

So a heads up if I can. This restaurant no longer provides Menus so you have to look it up online by your smart phone you can do this via the QR code left on the table or via the website. This is easy enough if you are phone savvy but can be an issue if you are not a great one with your phone and technology.Also in August especially during the government promotion of £10 off you have to book a table we sat down and ate without issue trying to get a booking reservation without any success it transpires that all the local restaurants are busy with this promotion which horse is it some tension so booking is key.As for the food and drink expect hot toasty and no issues whatsoever so cannot find fault not that we were looking for of course.

Just what you'd expect from a pizza express. Good service and nice food. We were served quickly for all parts of our meal and you can see your g Food being prepared in the kitchen. We took my 3 year old nephew and there were loads of crayons and colouring activities to keep him occupied.
