Plaice 4 Fish in Brighton and Hove

The fish was fine (although the portions of both fish and chips were on the small side). The chips were very dry and looked/tasted like they'd been cooked a long time before. Not a great experience and I won't be ordering from there again.

If I could give zero stars I would. We haven't ordered from here for a good few months and it was always ok. Ordered last night and it was one of the worst take always I've ever had. I had a burger and I would be embarrassed to serve that to a paying customer. The meat is such poor quality, horrible bun, a tiny bit of old lettuce. The pie was rock hard where it had been microwaved god knows how many times. The saving grace was the chicken wings which were tasty. The guy in there is unfriendly and just strange.

My partner ordered a saveloy, three cod and one chips, the restaurant phoned to let us know that he was out of saveloy so swapped it for a battered sausage the order turned up and it is missing two cod, the owner has blocked my partner's phone number after she tried to ring him back (a call which he rejected) and he's now ignoring the shop phone when I tried to ring him (I phoned the shop 11 times). We won't be using them ever again and I suggest nobody else does.

A convenient place for fish and chips plus various other fast food including kebabs and chicken etc. Staff could be a little more friendly.

Fresh cooked food. Good sized portions. Great crispy chips!

Slow service here, unfortunately. Only wanted a large chips. Cost £1.99, gave £2.00 and wasn't even offered the penny. I would've said keep it if offered. Sorry, but a rather uninspiring place to get food. Oh well, seems the chippy is now rarer than cod used to be.

I would give this take away no stars if i could. Order was late being delivered and food was cold. I phoned up to complain and the customer service was poor. Intially no apology for cold food being sent, no refund/replacement offered. So recieved cold food and out of pocket. Very disappointed.

ordered online got confirmation email and a timer counting down till it's deliverd and then when time past . I rang to find out they didn't receive my order? when I asked why send me confirmation the guy laughed with colleagues whilst on phone and claimed it's not there fault it's the system.the guy is rude on the phone and I can't understand why you would act this way to customers.can't judge the food I'm afraid as I never got it.

Vile, vile, vile - avoid at all costs. Had fish and chips. I am sure the chips had been pre fried and just dipped back into the fat as they tasted stale and crunchy. The fish was served in plastic boxes so the steam made the batter incredibly soggy.To top it of I was short changed by £5!!!AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
