We went here yesterday and as always we loved the food. It is so authentic and delicious. The menu is written in a very quirky and funny style, look out for the 3 exact same cumin rice dishes on the menu. My personal favourite dish is two half portions of sweetcorn and patra with masoor dhal.

I give it 1 star because it is not really Indian food but more like a Brighton student version, Its like spice lentils and potatoes and not much else. Thats fine but it's kind of over priced for essentially something I could whip up at home in half an hour. The ingredients selection is poor and limited for a vegan place. There are a ton of veggies available for Indian food, but they only use a few. (Try a visit to Taj grocer instead of Aldi's)There's nothing exciting about this Planet India plus it smacks of re heated frozen, very un-Indian!

Literally the best vegan curry in Brighton and beyond! Been eating here for years, every time, is just perfect. The owners are absolutely lovely too, extremely down to earth and nothing is too much trouble! :)

Love this little curry house. Tasty vegan and veggie options only at affordable prices and decent sized portions. Cosy, friendly atmosphere inside but I often use the delivery service too. Great service.

Excellent food and probably the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The flavours are incredible and the portions are huge. Bring a big appetite!

We had dinner at Planet India one week after they reopened (after lockdown). All in all, amazing Indian Vegetarian Food. Nice seating outside. Their dishes have a lovely home cooked feel and taste. Try the Shai Bhel Puri, it is the most amazing Indian salad-type dish I ever had! The onion bhajis are also second to none. Their menu has some nice little touches to help you to decide what to have. They have a good selection of beers as well. Highly recommended.
