Great place for some good food and drink. Had some starters as tapas, the shell on prawns were sweet, plump, juicy and fantastic with the aioli, the sea bass and mussels were really tasty and the houmous and olives were delicious too! Lots of lovely fairy lights and plenty of dogs!

Great local pub , with easy pay by phone parking on the street . Good menu ,dog and child friendly, great staff . Food was exceptional and service very efficient, fantastic craft beer selection. Well worth a visit.

For the price I paid for the food and drink I expected better quality. The fish and chips tasted quite average but was £16 which is rather high compared to many other places. Also I paid £4.40 for a large orange juice, I would have expected freshly squeezed for that price but it was not. However the positive was that the food portions were quite big

Located close to Preston Park, they offer great Sunday lunches. A little bit on the pricey side, but the quality of the food has proven consistent.

Excellent! Beef *enormous* cd do with half for a lower price with a fancy modern take on a Yorkshire! (Especially with carbon emission implications of beef)

Food was good but for gluten free sensitivity this place is a no go. Only two options on the whole menu were gluten free options. Not easily displayed either....so many restaurants are up to date with this serious allergy and have separate menus these days..... very disappointed.

Ben and his team looked after us so well. The food was excellent (best roast pork I've ever had) and the service was top drawer. We (family table of 10) were made to feel so welcomed and we were not rushed in any way. Really lovely chilled afternoon with drinks in the warm cosy garden area afterwards......Lovely!Thank you to all at the P.P.T. Top marks you are doing a wonderful job!

Great Sunday roast - I had the vegetarian version, which was delicious - and a friendly gastropub to meet family of three generations. Staff excellent and attentive.

Well worth a visit, the food could not be faulted it really excellent, the prices were very fair considering the quality, a very nice ambience and trendy feeling exists with friendly and efficient staff. My only negative point is being asked to hand over a credit/debit card to be held behind the bar until the end of the meal. This is a practice not recommended by card issuers because of possible fraud or clonning. This is something that happened to me 20 years ago when I relinquished my brand new card to a waiter in an Egyptian restaurant in London, it was the only time I'd let the card out of my control and within a week it had been used in Spain to buy £1100 worth of jewellery.I believe it would be safer for customers and the business not to continue with this practice. It is a great responsibility for the company to hold any if not many cards and if a fraud were to take place there would be a great deal of difficulty for the business and the customer in trying to prove who was responsible.

Best roast in town! We’ve been the last two weeks in a row for the Sunday roast after stumbling upon this place. The food is soooo good. Great, varied menu with lots of choices and restaurant quality food. Will definitely head back for food mid-week. Highly recommended!
