Real Patisserie in Brighton and Hove

They keep selling me OLD cakes and tarts that belong in the bin. I understand that old stock must be sold first, but don't sell soggy old pastry! Yuck!The limp, wet pastry in the Mille-Feuille is particularly offensive. But the strawberry tart I bought with it was so soggy I couldn't pick it up to eat it. Both went straight in the bin. I hate paying for rubbish.

Very good selection of delicious cakes and bread. The staff are all very nice.

Great choice of amazing bakes. Great coffee. Lots of vegan pastries to choose from. Visited several times while on holiday in Brighton. Great for breakfast on the go. Lovely fresh bread to but too.

We love this bakery, and especially love the Fjord brown bread! It's soft, hearty, and nutty. Great for sandwiches or eating with spreads and cheeses. A fantastic Scandinavian-style rye bread.

Amazing food, but if busy you have to be really assertive to get served. People just walk in and get served while others wait patiently.If you can, I'd recommend going to the sister shop in hove which I can't fault at all (easily 5 stars).I'll be avoiding this one if I can.

What can I say. You kept us going during lockdown and we continue to be hooked on your delicious treats, breads and coconut cappuccino's! All the staff are so incredibly lovely which keeps use coming back for more.

The quiche Lorraine is perfection! Faultless! I also love the peach tart.

Near-perfection. The staff are wonderfully friendly and competent. The pastries and cakes are the best in Brighton. The sandwiches and quiches are stunning. The coffees are high-quality and they can actually make a flat white!

My favorite bakery in town. A lovely place to grab for a quick lunch. Food there are always nice and the staffs are always welcoming. I’ve tried most of the things there when I live nearby, one of my favorite cake is “waste or not” and the quiche is always delicious.

Amazing frittata !! 😋😋😋2 flavours, all good, full of vegetables , definitely special.Good pastry shop, I'll come back everytime I visited Brighton also recommend it to my friends : )
