Richard's Cafe in Brighton and Hove

They are so lovely here and the food is great. Very dog friendly too. Great to support a local business rather than a chain.

Update: Still absolutely lovely. Kind people, a great place on a sunny day with that big bay window, and delicious scrambled eggs and salmon. Food the way my grandparents used to make it. Delicious.A local delight. Warm, friendly people, a bright and sunny atmosphere and great food! Generous portions and move smoothies for the angelic. The Red roaster locally-roasted coffee is also a highlight. Occupies a kind of diner parallel universe, the kind of place you don't want to leave. The kind of place that leaves you humming classic hits and smiling.

It has become a routine for me to have breakfast at Richards every Saturday morning. Amazing food, love the English breakfast and the americano. Should try the Avacado toast for veggies.

I Had a lovely breakfast on my own in this place cozy and very welcoming close to my house. I chose the big breakfast as shown in the picture below, It was tasty and satiating. Staff on the front consisting of 3 girls were amazing and very professional, helping you to make yourself comfortable and enjoy the time at the best. Would definetely come back when I'll have another chance.

Absolutely fantastic food,a warn & welcoming atmosphere the food is par excellencé,the staff are always welcoming & curtious.Today I tried eating,Avacado chicken & bacon salad unfortunately I had to leave as I walked back into Cafe & was about to leave my dinner one of the staff with a smile asked me," would I like a box to take my meal away"& gave me a box & bag.If you like healthy food with an easy to read menu,Richards is for you.

Best breakfast from Hove with good prices. Eggs Florentine were spot on and the English breakfast really tasty. Definitely worth checking it out.

Smashed down a couple of cooked breakfasts (one veggie!) and the waitress kindly offered to swap the tomato for an extra hash brown! Food all good quality and reasonably priced. Would love to go back to try one of their many, tasty looking sandwiches...

We have been going to Richard's few times and we love it!! They always find place for you to have a table. They are always taking care of customers and making them feeling like home :) food good coffe good. Just perfect

A small, cozy dine-in and take-away. I really enjoyed the sardine on rustic toast special. The balsamic sauce was very nice. Prices are on the cheaper end of the scale in my short experience in the UK.
