What a beautiful restaurant. Came on a Tuesday night and had such a lovely time. Special mention to Luke our server who was not only well educated in the menu items but also super friendly and really attentive. He deserves a pay rise for sure!The food was out of this world and the wines were lovely too!Could not recommend this place any more. 5 stars for the best fish restaurant in Brighton!

Exquisitely crafted dishes with attention to detail & carefully picked ingredients. Had been looking forward to visiting the Riddle&Fins in the Lanes, as I had heard much about it and I can safely say that they did satisfy my expectations, maybe even mildly exceeded them :))Worth noting: compared to other dining in Brighton it is more on the expensive side but definitely worth it (and the bill depends on what you order) , it is gluten free friendly (the pancakes in the photo), also to note: there’s a policy where if you are in two you have to sit side by side with your ‘date’, leaving space for people to sit opposite you. I went with a friend though and was not awkward at all despite being surprised at first by the seating arrangement.Would go again!Friendly and professional staff too.Very quick service!Atmosphere is 10/10 and recommended especially for a nice date night.

It has been a short while since my last visit due to current restrictions, but nothing has changed. Perfect environment, perfect service, amazing fresh food. It's not the cheapest, but it is the best and you get what you pay for when it comes to fresh food. Amazing meal, keep up the good work team!

Beautifully cooked food, and a lovely friendly team inside as well! I would consider this to upper dining, and it is more expensive than your average restaurant, however the portion sizes, presentation and quality of the food provide more than adequate reasoning! If you like seafood, this is the place to go.

My partner took me here for my birthday as he knows I love seafood. We sat at the back wall of the restaurant as my partner didn't realise you have to share a table with other people and as it was my birthday didn't like the idea of this. The waiter we had was very polite and attentive. The food we choose was lovely however there wasn't alot to choose because of supply issues which was a little disappointing. Over all an ok experience.

The food is very delicious. Service enthusiastic, cute and of course warm. I’m very happy to have dinner with dear friends here. Will be back, for sure.

Hidden gem in the lanes! The seafood is so fresh and cooked to utter perfection by the chefs. The menu changes from time to time to keep it interesting. Lovely and creative way of presenting seafood as a main mea. Would visit again.

Simple perfection! The prices are high but totally worth it. Easily one of the best seafood restaurants in the UK! Oysters are always fresh and the dishes are simply delicious! Decent wine selection. Staff are amazing.

Hannds down, this is the best food I've ever had in any restaurant. Ever. Anywhere in the world. Just unreal. And not to be blowing my own trumpet, but at the time of writing this I have over 1,100 Google Map contributions. The staff (Megan and Isabelle) were also great, thank you so much for suggesting the octopus! Would never have ordered it otherwise and it was amazing.

Suave and sophisticated seafood restaurant on Brighton’s seafront. This was recommended online and we are so glad we were able to get a table and sample the fine food. I would suggest booking on line or getting there early which is what we did. Staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgable. We were seated outside and with the outstanding menu, quality of food and supreme wine selection, It was a truly wonderful experience worth every penny.
