Outstanding food. I've been eating here for over a decade and never had anything but excellent food and service.

Heard good things about this place so when I realised they were doing takeaway during lockdown I decided to treat myself. What a disappointment! Possibly the worst takeaway I've ever had, the food should never have been allowed out of the kitchen. All dishes were overspiced, chicken was bland and over cooked, squid looked and tasted like rubber, the crispy garlic seasoning was wet and soggy, even the coconut rice was tasteless.Best dish was the duck rolls but that's just because they were edible not worth going back for and the painfully disappointing experience wasnt cheap either.I can only hope this place has just started doing takeaway and are still finding their feet. I wish them all the best for the future but Ros Thai needs to maintain a consistent higher standard if they expect to survive the current climate.

Just fancied a Thai meal, on the way back from the beach spotted Ros Thai. I didn’t exactly get a warm and friendly welcome. So for me this is why I have only given 2 stars as atmosphere is essential in a restaurant. The restaurant is rather tired looking, but the food was decent enough.I had the Green curry and coconut rice, nicely presented, the curry sauce was quite a thin texture, tasty though. The chicken not as soft as I’ve had in say a Chinese restaurant.I think the staff, well the older waitress could be more welcoming, doubt I’d visit again......

I have no idea what those negative comments are about. Just been there and there were two ladies and the restaurant was very quiet and empty at first as it was 6:30 p.m. It started getting busy shortly after we walked in. Both of the ladies were very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. We ordered starters, two mains and drinks. Everything was delicious and the bill was quite fair. Okay the decor is not the best but who cares if the food and service is good? We both thought the food was very authentic and loved the friendly faces there. Oh, and, everything was sparkling clean!

always nice, have been coming here for years.Very pleasant staff polite and efficient.all dishes are consistantly nice .Beer great wine acceptable.Made for the english palate than authentic Thai food but why not.We keep coming so it must be good.

We ordered a take away green chicken and red tofu curry. The green was just about acceptable but not much flavour and the chicken was like rubber. The red curry was inedible. It looked like it had curdled and tasted weird like it had gone off and so we couldn't eat it, and I eat most things.Looked like the food might of been sitting around for a while. On a plus, when we ordered it only took 20mins to get it ready. Almost a bit too quick...Would of gone back to complain and try and swap it but we drove down there to pick it up and it's raining out now so I didn't bother.Avoid

Very disappointed. I’ve never left a bad review for anywhere before, but sadly our experience at Ros Thai warrants one. The staff were very unwelcoming, and our waitress in particular treated us as if we were an inconvenience or had personally offended her in some way that I couldn’t work out. We had come to mark a special occasion, so this was extra disappointing. Later in our visit we realised we’d started eating a pork dish after ordering vegetarian. I notice that we are not alone, as a number of other reviews mention rude staff. I had fond memories of Ros Thai from years ago but am sad to say I absolutely do not recommend and we will not be returning.
