Almost 2 hrs to deliver, the food was tepid and watery, amazingly with no flavour at all. The chicken was dry and clearly reheated, the curry was actually chicken floating in a yellow flavourless soup. The most horrid Indian food I have ever had, please save your money and go elsewhere… anywhere would be better than that.

I visited sea of spice to pick up a takeaway and was very impressed. The restaurant part was very clean and and nicely decorated, i ordered my food from a very polite man behind the counter,While I was waiting for my food to be cooked another customer came in to pre order some food for what i assume to be a party a few days later, the man serving him was more than happy to accommodate this order for him and the customer was very happy. I then recieved my food a short time after and l left. The food was perfect everything was as I had ordered and perfectly cooked. I will defently put this place on my go to list for the future. Good food, good restaurant and great service. Well done.

Delicious food, I enjoyed the chilli garlic vegan chicken while my husband had the lamb karahi. We also got some delicious veggie starters but were too full for desert! Portions great, service excellent and atmosphere welcoming. Highly recommend

We ordered last night via just eat at 7 said it would arrive at 7-45 to 8-15, rocked up at 9-15 minus one item, had the biriyani which tasted good but not much chicken, back to Saltdean Spice for us

Meh. Ordered a chicken tikka masala which was tasty but not very many pieces of meat in the sauce. Pilau rice was dry and the chapati I ordered was overcooked and really dry, it felt a bit like not much care had been put into the meal overall.

First (and last!) take away under the new management was a complete disappointment. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I have never eaten such a bad Indian dish. The curry was watery, tasteless and bland, lacking spicy-ness and heat and completely devoid of the richness and deliciousness of an authentic Indian curry. The spinach dish tasted off, so we didn't eat it. Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Will not go back. Avoid.

First time with the new owners. Food was wonderful, really well spiced and good quality ingredients. Generous servings. So happy this favourite local restaurant is going from strength to strength.

Great food, affordable prices, and great service. 3 things I hardly ever get together from any of my locals! Great to see the guys back and under new ownership. Spent little over £80 they gave me a free vegetable main dish and 2 pilaw rice which was nice of them, as we won’t say no to free food. Overall food was good and consistent with flavour delivery waiting was one hour but I prefer the honesty instead of me chasing up constantly so thank you guys. Will spread the word that you guys are back !!!

First time going back here as I noticed it’s under new management on my way home, Ordered last week and the food came on time and was piping hot and fresh. Great taste and value so when I got back some change I couldn’t believe it, and they gave a free veg side dish with the order (spent about £30 roughly) to say thank you for a first order so that was a touch!!! Will keep on coming back let’s all support our local
