Not really no. We were rushed. Dishes whipped away from under our noses. The steak was gristly. Nobody asked or appeared to care. Oh well. It's good to try new things from time to time. We have tried this so that you don't have to

Went to Semolina last night with 2 friends and had a properly wonderful meal. All 3 of us loved everything we had. It’s not cheap but it certainly is worth every penny. Great flavour combinations and superb presentation. Attentive waitress and amazing Brighton gin and tonic. Will absolutely return!

Superb! The food is fantastic. Right amount and was delicious. It is easy to miss this restaurant from the outside, as it looks like someone's house. I'm glad we didn't.

Lovely tasty food, great wine selection, and nice staff. The restaurant is tiny and cosy, perfect for an intimate meal. Oh, and the price is amazing for the style of food you get! Absolute quality stuff for an affordable meal.

Food and wine was amazing, best we've had in Brighton. The restaurant was small and welcoming, with a friendly relaxed atmosphere.The price was very good value for the quality of the meal, we paid under £80 for two course meal for two and two rounds of drinks.Servers wore masks throughout the meal, which we appreciated. Despite the masks, they still managed to feel approachable and welcoming.Will definitely go back and get some vouchers for family for Christmas!

Excellent independent restaurant! We were given a warm welcome and looked after very well by the staff. The food was delicious and if I lived in Brighton this would definatly be my "go to" restaurant for a special meal out.

Went to Semolina for their October Best menu which was Seabasss or Duck plus winr for £20. We tried both and they were delicious. The dessert we had was walnut tart. The service was great too but the lady serving us was quite pushy with us ordering more wine which was rather frustrating. Everything else was spot on!
