Friendly staff and has a few decent beers on. There is a good atmosphere when the fire is on and it has a large outside space.Good pub food as well.

Great food. Friendly service. Nice veggie options. I'm not a fan of football playing in the background , but that's just a personal preference. I will definitely be back - recommend ++

Had Sunday lunch here with several friends at the weekend. Place was very busy so we were happy to wait . Food was generally good but was almost entirely cool / cold, no one wanted to wait the probable 20 minutes or more for a fresh hot portion so stuck with what were given. Was actually quite tasty but could have been so much better. Will not come back.

Dropped in for a few lunches here and it’s been great. Food and drink spot on. Atmosphere is awesome, the pub itself is old school and the land lady behind the bar is great fun.

I actually quite liked this pub, in a Hoxton sort of way. Decor a little contrived but still very good. Appears the sort of place you'd take your parents for Sunday lunch the first time they visit you when you move to Brighton, rather than a real local.Beers more expensive than many even in the city centre. Whatever incense or air freshener they use is very overwhelming, but I quit liked it. Guinnes £5.30 whilst many in Brighton charge £5

Brilliant local, a 'proper' pub with a huge sunny garden. large beer selection and a great kitchen. The short rib massaman curry is amazing. The atmosphere is always good due to a fun group of bar staff, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Such a great pub! Unreal food with great vegan options. Brilliant larger, IPAs and wine selection. Huge beer garden high spec! Highly recommended.

Really nice pub by London road station. Spacious indoor and outdoor areas. Busy but not rowdy, well decorated and with good service, food, and drinks.
