We went for a birthday breakfast. There was a great choice on the menu. The food was lovely and we didnt wait long at all. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The cakes looked amazing we will definitely be going back to try cakes.

The tearoom has had a refurbishment and much improved. Good choice of cakes! Coffee good value at £2.60 added also they offer a loyalty card. Certainly better value and service than 'One Garden ' on the Stanmer Estate. Service friendly as well.

Delicious coffes and cakes in there, recommend for sunny days.

·

A great brunch for 4 of us and 4 dogs , very friendly staff who made a fuss of us and dogs , let us all sit inside which was a bonus,Food was well presented and tasty didn’t have to wait long , £40 for 4 mains and 4 teas was a bit steep .

Friendly staff who coped well with a dozen cyclists in addition to their normal numbers. Delicious and substantial vegan chilli on baked potato.

We went to Stanmer tea rooms for breakfast yesterday as we’ve heard such good things about it. We arrived at 9:55am and were the only ones there. However we stood for about 5 minutes before anyone of the 3 staff even acknowledged us at the counter- they were cleaning the coffee machine and putting glasses away whilst we stood with menus in hand. We asked if we could order breakfast as we were not even sure that they were open, given their lack of speaking with us. They said we could order and We sat down, where I had to wipe the table down as it was dirty. Our drinks were made but I sat and watched my tea stewing whilst they made a cappuccino- my Tea was so strong it was undrinkable. I even went Uk and removed the tray bag eventually without them noticing abs it was still so strong and getting cooler. I wasn’t given milk either but decided not to bother asking for any at this stage. When breakfast arrived the order was wrong - fried eggs instead of scrambled, pork sausages looked very undercooked and there was a pool of fat on the plate. I asked if I could please have some butter for my toast and this was defiantly placed on the table, no sorry or can I get you anything else. I felt like I was asking for something extraordinary to be honest.I ended up being really unwell for the rest of the day- thinking due to the sausages.Am so sad to write this as it really looks to be a lovely tea room but am thinking maybe it’s brilliant for cake ( not tea unless you like it very strong!). Sorry guys.

Great 'cafe' style tearoom. Had a great brunch and coffee here. Also looked like a nice selection of cakes and pastries. Popular with cyclists, walkers and families. Dogs welcome.

Have always loved this cafe the staff are always so friendly and helpful, the property itself is in a lovely location. The food is very good and reasonable prices. they have a great selection and is so nice to see gluten free and dairy free options. I feel like sometimes some items on their menue are missing a little extra touch which could make their food even better but overall their food is great and I've been coming here for many years! They now serve on gorgeous plates and cups instead of single use which is lovely.

Great location on a sunny day, nice selection of food and drinks that are very reasonably priced. Lots of picnic benches, some in the shade, some with parasols and the rest without. The one thing that really put me off was the young blond guy behind the counter, who kept wiping his nose on his hand and then served food & drink to customers. Thankfully one of the ladies served me and made my coffee, which was very good. Will definitely take friends and family there on my next visit.

What a joyous location with lots of tasty treats on offer including cheesy chips, pizza and good coffee. Nice staff.😃
