Sushimania in Brighton and Hove

it was an excellent dinner they treated us very well the price is fair and the food is very fresh and they don't take long to bring it

We often eat here but we do accept that dining at Sushimania is pot luck.Sometimes we have a great experience: food is great, service is fast, the app works and management is polite, but other times any one of those, or on occasion all of them, can be sub-par and lead to a poor experience.The general cleaning could do with being better- it does look like everything has been wiped down with a dirty cloth - and the toilets could do with renovation, they are disgusting.If you go in open-minded then you can laugh it off most of the time.

Such good value for money! 100% better than YoSushi! Simple ordering system. The service used to be a bit slow many years ago but its really good now! The price is now £20.80 pp for all you can eat buffet.

I think you won’t find something better in Brighton even for that price. 18£ and you eat whatever you want. High quality dishes, excellent presentation, nice staff, they offer you tap water right after you enter and sit in your table. I will come back and I wanted to share the excellent service and their amazing food. If you want to eat well and cheap, don’t doubt it and come here. This used to be one of my go to places: I've had a few not so good experiences but the last time I visited, was finally my last.Long story short, as per usual I ordered 12 dishes from the all you can eat, about 40 minutes later I only had 3 dishes and nobody explained to me why. I asked what was going on, only to be met with another 10 minute wait at that point I just said I would leave if I don't get an answer and that's when I finally had a response.There was other "favoured" tables having constant service as well as plenty of takeaway orders, so I'm unsure what caused such delay as I was never told, besides "there was an issue/problem".During that time the restaurant was quiet, and there were plenty of empty seats: I had visited before during busier times and it's never quite been like this. Really disappointed. It's a really nice place with great food, but I feel that it's no longer worth the visit, until it changes ownership.

The staff are very friendly and the service is very quick. However the rice to fish ratio was very bad (especially in the Californiarolls). The sushi was mostly rice which makes the "all you can eat" sushi offer not that great as you get full quickly from eating the huge amounts of rice.

I've eaten at Sushimania a handful of times and had really mixed experiences. The food is always out of this world, but the whole 'eat as much as you like' thing is a bit out of whack. It's like they don't really want you to eat as much as you like. And that makes sense with sushi, it's expensive and small, you could really rinse it! But overlooking that, the menu is broad and every dish is delicious. The app to order food worked fine. Staff are polite and courteous, but refilled our drinks after virtually every sip, occasionally spilling a little on the food and table. It was all a bit unnecessary. Nevertheless, it's great value, and delicious and if you go in knowing it's all a bit preposterous, you'll have a good time!

Good came quick, tasted delicious and all food was hot and ready!Always love coming here. Finally can give them some recognition for the amazing good they serve!Staff is lovely and welcoming and are always helpful when it comes to ordering.

Nice surprise to find Sushimania in Brighton.It’s an all you can eat table service Japanese chain restaurant for 18.80£ per person.Their app is very glitchy and might doesn’t work on iOS but luckily you can still order the ancient way with the order paper and pen.As long as you don’t expect top notch sushi then you do grat. good value for money.Remember you can order max of 6 dishes per page so 12 dishes max per order and make sure you don’t order more than you can eat because wastage will not be tolerated.

Usually, I like Sushimania but this location, I’m not sure. Service was adequate and sushi was either bland or too saucy. I’m not sure if it was just a bad day but the food was decently edible. We did enjoy the fact there was 50% off the menu during the time we visited and even an option for buffet. Another plus is that they take the covid guidance seriously and even have an app you could order from.
