Awful, awful experience. Slow delivery for my online order, several items were refunded and of those that arrived most had been substituted for something unsuitable without consultation. No packaging in the box either so even the incorrect items were damaged in transit. I can't think of a worse online food buying experience.

Large international cuisine supermarket in town, host wide array of fruit, Vege and dry goods. Butcher and deli counter also found in store. Can be a little pricey on some products but cheap on others. Fresh herbs for instance are 75p a massive bunch but some of the pickles and dairy stuff is expensive. Always well stocked and great for Indian cuisine.

A rarity! An independent supermarket with its own butcher's counter (halal), fresh veg & fruit from around the world, ready-made food, and a fabulous range of Middle Eastern and Indian subcontinent dry and frozen goods. Taj is as big as the Waitrose store opposite - take a diversion and indulge yourself in something different!

The Alladin cave of grocery. Hard to imagine a food item of any cuisine across several continents one won't find there. The produce is excellent, good halal meat, I can even find my beloved Aleppo soap there, so in combination with Waitrose across the street my weekly shopping: 99% sorted!

Lots of vegan alternatives! Fairly cheap but massive grocery store with lots of lovely fresh fruit and veg. I also enjoy their inscence sticks

Fantastic selection BUT in a string of garlic every one was hard or mouldy. Bought a pack of Naan breads. All mouldy. A shame because everything else about the place is fantastic and full of new foods and variety.Lesson. Check what you buy here Very carefully.

I generally visit Taj the grocer for vegetables, fish, spices. I never ask for receipt, today I took receipt and after reached home i am surprised to see items prices are not properly reflecting in the bill and mismatched with the price mentioned in the storage section. Halva took 5.99 GBP instead of 2.99. Try to skip next time.

Great place, but do not ask yo be delivered. No communication,no delivery time frame,I had to call, email twice and hat to get my delivery. When it finally arrived I was short of £19.03 of shopping and still chasing for a full refund. So far I have only received a partial refund. It is a shame as I really like shopping thereunder the products and the staff is lovely, but I will never ask to be delivered again!

This grocery shop has everything you would need. It has a butcher counter. The cuts of meat are presented very well. They have a food counter serving quick biryanis, somosas, kebabs and cooked chicken. With the addition of the fresh pickled olives. Fruit amd Veg section is huge with lots of variety. All products are presented nicely.

Every time I go here I feel as if I'm in Bahrain....the colour and the smell of all the fruit and vegetables. A huge variety of spices, pulses, rice and herbs. Freshly butchered meat. The shop have invested in a better layout and it's so worth a visit.
