Poor service. Staff is very disorganized. The ham and cheese toastie was dry with little cheese.I ate very well in this place a few weeks ago but it has been deteriorating...😭

What a find! Fantastic little eatery. Great food, friendly service and a lovely hidden garden area. We will be back soon.

Lovely place to have coffee, cake or lunch. Very friendly staff + very accommodating. I only wanted a simple chicken sandwich to take away (altho have eaten in previously) + it was superb. Lovely seeded bread + moist chicken, not too expensive but really worth every penny. Will definitely be going back.

What a fabulous hidden gem of a cafe - delicious food, amazing cakes and the best coffee for miles. All this and a secret garden in the middle of Portland Road’s eclectic mix of independent shops. Daniel and his staff go above and beyond to serve their customers - all cafes should be like this.

I have really mixed feelings about Tea Leaf. I have been to Tea Leaf around 4/5 times over the past few months and have mainly visited for lunch. I am a big supporter of local and independent businesses and am even very happy to even pay a premium. However, what I have found is that the quality of the food has significantly decreased over a short period of time. On my first visit I had a fantastic chicken & avocado sandwich on freshly baked bread that was accompanied by a side salad. On my second visit this became just the sandwich without any sides, something I can understand to potentially keep costs lower or reduce waste. On my most recent visit yesterday there was the biggest step down. I had a cheese and chorizo toasted sandwich, this toasted sandwich came in sliced, shop bought bread. Unfortunately, I cannot justify going to a cafe and spending ~£5 on a sandwich that looked like a meal deal.I want to support this business and use a very local cafe to me (I live in the neighbourhood), however I cannot continue to waste my money on uninspiring and poorly thought out food.

Love this place. Food is fresh and the service attentive and kind. The sun-trap garden is a calm place to spend some time too. Recomend the 'big boy' breakfast, soaks-up a hangover like a love sponge. Blankets provided if a bit chilly if you still want some winter sun.
