Love this bar, you can find little secret spaces to hide away in. Loved it!!

Really really shocking establishment, run really badly with terrible service and ineptitude. We came as a large group of well-behaved professionals and ordered food and drink. The food took over 90 minutes to arrive, and there was no effort to remedy this or our frustration. We were given 1 little sauce on the house as an apology and even that came 15 minutes late, after all the food had been consumed. So not only was the gesture insulting in that it absolutely didn't "fit the crime" and showed no real remorse or effort to placate paying customers, but it came after the meal was consumed. We were moved and told by the manager that we could only order 1 drink per person at any given time, which as you can imagine is completely unreasonable for a large group trying to enjoy an evening out. The bar manager, was completely incompetent in using logic and common sense to find a reasonable solution. He claimed we were inebriated, but then couldn't identify or tell us who when we questioned this. He also claimed we made his staff upset but this was because the service was so poor, and the continuous errors they were making. So basically he was really trying to find reasons to frustrate us unnecessarily and it was a typical case of 'man with ear piece abusing his power'.Having worked in hospitality and run bars and restaurants, it's a global rule that should anyone be rude or disrespectful, they are asked to leave and that is absolutely correct. However, this useless manager decided to keep us all in the premises to continue to spend, but make it difficult for us to enjoy our evening. It makes no sense and I'd love the establishment to train him to improve his communication and decision-making skills. These are vital in his role and it's quite shocking how lacking he was in these skills. I'd offer to train him myself but his attitude indicated no effort to listen or improve - the worst kind of personality to have in a position of authority.I'm not surprised this establishment is barely over 4 star in rating. Avoid this place or expect to be disappointed or disrespected.

Epic location in Brighton and a really nice atmosphere. Stayed till late and was surprised by the banging music / line-up. Well worth a visit when visiting the south coast.

I guess the décor inside reminds me of sitting inside a fibreglass pirate cove. But the food there is so delicious it's worth it. Friendly staff and quick service.

The best fried chicken I have ever had! Really lovely staff that are happy to go the extra mile to make sure you have a good time. Would recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Food took far too long to arrive (50 minutes), apparently there was a backlog of orders, possibly short staffed {inside the restaurant was empty, outside were around 20 people}.When it did arrive, it was lovely and comforting but pricey for what it is.Would rate higher but the service was lacking in far too many places. The tables inside don't look sanitary with the staff not cleaning often in between meals.

I have walked past this place so moany times, and even say outside on occasion, but I was so surprised by the big interior with all those personal areas. A great place to go with a small group or intimate drink if you want some privacy, yet still big and busy. Worth a visit if by the beach and looking for a drinking hole, or more.

Had fun with my Scottish accent and wearing a mask, talking to an ozzie. I asked for old mouth cider. He gave me oat milk. Healthiest I've been for ages. Great place. Well worth the visit.

Amazing burgers and food, great atmosphere, inside is decorated like the inside of a ship, outside lots of benches and places to sit. Ordered medium cooked burgers as asked how we like them, mine was a bit rare but swapped with husbands which was more well done. Two very happy customers, will definitely return next time we are in Brighton 🙂 ps. Pic is after I cut the burger in half as it was massive 😋

Open air place next to the beach, picnik seats and views to the sea. The food is very simple, tasteless and nothing special, we were waiting 45’ to be served since we did the online order. Good place to have just a drink!
