After church got invited here for a Sunday roast lunch. Very impressed with the facility and very friendly and welcoming staff. The food was excellent, pork belly is to die for. Will be coming back to this absolutely awesome pub. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Had a great roast at my local last Sunday. Friendly, efficient service, our meals arrived quickly and were decent portions. Didn't stay for dessert sadly! Next time.

This has been one of my favourite pubs for a long time & I have a few tops ones in Brighton & Hove after growing up here, then moving back. However this is by far top of the list! You really need to pop along and try it if you haven’t already. Why do I love it?Well - the staff are welcoming, so friendly & professional, the atmosphere is really great & lastly, but most importantly as I am a foodie the food is so yummy.Best burger & chips around!Kevin ( the manager) is a complete asset & always looks after myself personally if I pop in there & the charity I work for ( for a work function)I recommend this place to anyone unreservedly :)

Loved it, thankyou! Gorgeous roast, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. I reckon the outside booths would benefit from some fairy lights 😄 but in my opinion no other room for improvement! The heaters worked very well, perfect place to go if anyone is a bit vulnerable to covid because all the booths separated

Fabulous place. Went to watch rugby and ate there. Food great and staff can't do enough so cheerful.

I was here for a Gaming Retro-bution night, (the retro gaming event). Stumbled upon it by accident and we ended up staying at the pub until almost close because it was so fun. The staff there were really friendly and provided quick service. The guy in the red shirt behind the bar was really hot. The selection of craft beers were really nice too. It's a local, but friendly vibe all around. We'll be there next Thursday!

Service and staff were great but I ordered “loaded fries” with bacon & cheese and it was a pretty small load for £8. Just a tiny bit of sauce and probably one rasher of bacon. Load those fries up a bit more next time please!!

One of the most disappointing roast dinners we’ve ever had. They brought the meal out with a completely burnt/black Yorkshire pudding. We asked if they couple replace this with a slightly less burnt one, at which point the waitress took our plates away with no apology, returning a minute later with our meals. This time the Yorkshire pudding looked fine but was completely cold in the middle. The same could be said for the meat. By this point the waitress continued to be unfriendly and non-communicative and we did not feel there was any point sharing this feedback with her as she appeared almost annoyed at any request we made. As we continued to eat the meal we realised a lot of the veg was also burnt. Overall it was not just a disappointing meal but also a really poor experience/customer service.

Had a burger and fries here in the outdoor seating area. Good food but the coleslaw was just chopped red cabbage. Burger and fries were great. Outdoor seating area is sectioned off between the tables and has heating which was amazing. There's only one toilet (for women) so if the pubs packed you could be waiting a while.

Went for Sunday Roast and had mixed feelings. Great choice of drinks, very attentive staff but we ordered food and it came out very late and waited at least 50 mins. I ordered the Beef and my partner ordered the Chicken which were both delicious. The vegetables were either over or under cooked and the potatoes weren't crispy and were still hard in the middle. They had run out of stuffing for the chicken and didn't mention this, but did compensate us by getting my partner a free drink (mulled cider). This tasted like it had been brewing since last year as it was so strong! Couldn't finish the drink but the thought was there. Overall, lovely little pub but service and food could be better.
