I have been going to this lovely pub in the past few weeks. It's so nice to feel welcome by all the people who are working.. I am going to gp the quiz on Monday and try there great menu of delicious food. It's my new second home. Great company and great beer too😀👍😀👍

AVOID IF YOU ARE ‘YOUNG’ Went here for a rare Saturday night off with a couple friends, at first had a nice atmosphere as wasn’t overly busy, bought quite a few drinks between us, played about 6 games of pool, one of us bought another pint and went to sit down for 5 mins as someone else wanted a game when some woman approached us literally as we sat down and told us ‘this isn’t a youth club, if your not buying a drink then you need to leave’…. We are all over 25.. Shame this ruined our whole evening as it was nice to find an empty pub on a Saturday night to have a few drinks and play some pool.. after spending £40 between us In less than a 2 hour period we feel this wasn’t justified.. great way to drive customers away on a dire Saturday night for a pub.

This used to be a regular pub for me some 30 years ago, so I was really pleased to see that all the best bits were still evident today. A proper pub with good beers and no TV !!

Lovely yummy food, good choice of beverages, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and nice back garden to enjoy the sunshine in. What's not to like. Can highly recommend this place :)
