A fine establishment for a quiet drink. Not too busy but enough going on to keep you entertained at anytime you are passing.

My wife went in for lunch today with friend. She came back said lunch was good, service excellent and friendly (bar and kitchen) people, thought they might be owners. Use to use the pub decades ago and my wife said we should definitively go try Sunday lunch! Praise indeed . 😀👍

My favorite place in Brighton!! I love the dessert and the claude val wine! The best in the world!

Had Sunday lunch and chose the lamb shank. It was excellent. Service efficient without being overly and unnecessarily attentive. No one asked if everything was alright which was nice given my enthusiastic attack on the lamb. Good view of the sea from the front window. Keep up the good work.

Really nice. Managed to get a sea view table. Food was absolutely delicious. Price reasonable.

Me and my family were refused entry has I had 2 children under 12 …. I’m pleased the pub can afford to loose the amount of money a family of four would have spent !!!! Do not recommend!!!

welcomed by the bar staff when popped in for a drink. Couldn't say the same about the maitre d, but then it was a Sunday lunchtime and I'd only popped in whilst waiting for a family member to come out of hospital. Otherwise, would be at least a 4, food looked great!

Great place. We went quite late in the evening so it was very quiet and we were able to have a seat by the window, over-looking the sea. The staff were friendly and polite, and knowledgeable of the menu. We were allowed to bring our well behaved dog inside which we really appreciated! Lovely food and good wine. This definitely isn't cheap grubby pub food, it's a lovely menu. Starters were on average £8 and mains on average £16/17. Cheapest bottle of wine I think was £23. There's also daily specials so definitely check those out! :)

Dogs welcome, classic feel but cleaner than most public houses. Shepherd's Pie is delicious, portions are huge, prices only slightly high, beers cold or warm as appropriate, staff is smiley and quite fetching, imo.
