A wonderful welcome from Louise and Ben. I had the fish pie and it was the most luxurious indulgent pie I have ever had. A lovely atmosphere and great service. Highly recommended!

The good organisation of this venue was 5*. The selection of food was like home cooking and the variety of food was great. The staff were obviously well trained and liked their job. I found disabled parking nearby opposite the post office. Thank you!

Fantastic roast beef and even more amazing was the biscoff cheesecake well worth a visit but best to book a table as very popular. Staff made us feel welcome and not rushed. Look forward to visiting again soon😊.

Garden is still as perfect as ever for a lunch sun trap beer, sadly the food quality has gone down hill massively since my last visit in August 2021. Hoping this is a temporary thing I’ll retry the food in 6 months from now and hope for a positive outcome as it’d be a shame to delist this place from my local favourites.

Just had a lovely dinner here. Bangers & mash & a beef burger. The gravy for the B&M was sooooo nice & possibly the nicest chips I’ve eaten! Friendly staff, dog friendly & great background music. A trendy, friendly place with great food - amazing 👍🏻

Very lovely atmosphere but honestly I can go on for hours about the food.. absolutely 5 star, I’ve eaten here three times in total and every time I have been wawed by the freshness and unbelievable taste of their dishes. WELL WORTH A VISIT!Ps. Try the Sunday roast pork belly ;)

Nice pub, great garden and lovely staff!Good burger, nicely cooked sea bass.Marked down as we were not impressed by the seasoning of the coleslaw + the sea bass was perfectly cooked but not scaled (would you cook chicken with its feathers?) and, most of all, out of the 5 mussels on my plate, 3 were not opened (therefore not cooked enough), 1 half open and 1 perfect. Such a shame as the sauce was delicious and overall a good dish but undercooked mussels is a no go.

Manager was very accommodating. Bent over backwards to make my stay very enjoyable. My roast was spectacular. I'll definitely be coming back to satiate my craving for meat.

Some if the bar staff need people skill training on how not to be flippant when replying to question regarding the change that had to be divided... when I mentioned my carbonara was only just warm it was taken away & microwaved making the bacon hard, so paying £12.50 for a child size portion will definitely not be happening again...in fact a visit to this pub won't be happening again
