Staff do table service and the roast is great! Huge portions too. Recommend. Make sure you book it's very popular.

Fab food, my new go to for pub food! I had the vegan bangers and mash and was so so delicious 🤤 Not very impressed with the beer selection though 😊

·

The food is very good with the biggest selection of bangers and mash I’ve ever seen, there is even a special offer on a Wednesday. This is such a gem of a pub and well worth a visit (again and again and again)

Came here for dinner while visiting relatives in Brighton. Lovely warm little pub, great atmosphere and the bangers and mash were really great along with califlower cheese, greens and super gravey. The staff are really friendly and helpful. I would really recommend this place.

What a brilliant little pub in Hanover Brighton . Great atmosphere, amazing bangers and mash food, all served piping hot. What more can you ask for . Highly recommend a visit 👌

Oh my! The bangers & mash here: Truelly AMAZING! Along with a side of the seasonal greens, too. 😋 Makes for a perfectly comforting, colder evening meal. That’s both super yummy and, very satisfying, indeed!!! :-)

Wonderful roast. Would definitely recommend 👌

We visited The Geese for a spontaneous drink and decided to have a Sunday roast later that day. The staff were really accommodating and we were able to sit down slightly earlier than booked. The atmosphere was lovely, a really bustling Sunday. The roast was so delicious, especially the massive yorkie. Great portion sizes, thanks so much!

Biggest selection of sausage and mash you could possibly ask for. Friendly staff and in a nice part of town. On the small side so book in advance if you can. There's so small outside seating. Highly recommended!

I visited yesterday with my girlfriend. Its a nice little pub. We each had a roast dinner, she had the Pork & I had the Lamb, we also ordered extra roast potatoes and pigs in blankets on the side. The roast was really tasty, the veg was really good too especially the savoy cabbage, I couldn't get enough of that. The meat on both of our meals was well cooked and flavoured, the roast potatoes were lovely and crispy. The pigs in blankets were also full of flavour, I found them quite heavy but still really nice. The Yorkshire pudding was well cooked and fluffy on the inside and the dinner came with a decent amount of gravy, the pigs in blankets were alsonwerved in gravy. The pub also provided condiments too. I would definitely go back for a roast here! In the pictures most of the veg is hidden by the meat or Yorkshire. There were carrots, parsnip, red cabbage and the savoy cabbage.
