Pleasant meal at a dog friendly venue. Service was friendly, but slightly on the slower side. There were a couple of bigger tables in the main dining space and private dining so perhaps they just didn't have enough staff. Food was tasty, not the most amazing meal but enjoyable. The dessert was a bit disappointing, would have preferred more cheesecake versus the crumbed base.

An always excellent and fresh menu with delicious options for every course. Friendly staff make it a wonderful dining experience every time. The bar area is dog friendly and serves the same menu as the restaurant, so we can all go and no one misses out.

Went here especially for a birthday lunch and it was just perfect! Everything from the friendly staff, to the amazing cocktails / wine and delicious food! We had 3 courses and they were all to die for.I didn't get her name but the lovely Italian lady who served our table was especially kind, attentive, funny and friendly. A real asset to the restaurant! Will definitely be returning when next in Brighton. Thank you :)

The foods are fantastic and the staffs are extremely friendly, had a round of cocktails after, very lovely needless to say.The whole experience from start to finish is great and Eddie the bar man’s skills are absolutely stunning. We will definitely return again.

WOWNot a particularly pretty looking venue from the outside, but once inside through the revolving doors you are in for a culinary delight.Went for lunch on a rainy dull Tuesday so the restaurant was not busy we had; oysters, trout salad with celeriac remoulade, crab salad with pressed cucumber, pork fillet with white cabbage, Halibut from the specials board with creamed leeks, pistachio cake with cherries and cherry ice cream and coffee. Every dish was a delight to eat and perfectly seasoned, service attentive and prices better than expected. This Chef whoever she or he is knows their stuff, and does it well, an interesting menu, good portions, properly seasoned. Book a table you will not be disappointed

Good food and selection of drinks. We went here for brunch and it was delicious. The staff is friendly and the interior is inviting. We were a bit disappointed that a tip (almost £3) for the service was included in the bill. We always give a tip, but would like it to be our own decision and not something mandatory.

Lovely food, attentive service, wine has a high mark up and should probably be £5 less per bottle. 1 star dropped.Service automatically added, even for two of us. I hate this, it's not America and a tip is an optional thing in England. I would have happily paid 10% but it's my choosing. So that loses a star too.

Delicious Sunday lunch! Starters were amazing. Eddie excelled at after dinner cocktails. Staff were so attentive. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

·

5 stars for the spicy margaritas! The bar is a great place to just chill with a tipple in the afternoon. Great nibbles and starters. Mains were good but not as much of a stand out.

Went with a friend, they were able to accommodate us as walk in, which is great. Bit of a mixed overall experience. I enjoyed the food, ambience; my friend not so much. Not much veggie/gluten choice and it came a bit too charred. Did offer to make the dish gluten free. We also did mention at the time about dish too charred, however nothing was done to appease this comment or experience there. Tastefully decorated, staff seem very busy.
