Absolutely amazing roast and staff are really nice and attentive. Would highly recommend

·

Lovely staff and very cute pub however the roast was lacklustre to be honest. Big portions however the food was bland.

Excellent roast dinners! We’ve been going for 3 years now and never had another pub roast like it. Always great, we eat here during the week too as the daily menus are also delicious.Staff go out of their way to make everything a top notch experience. Highly recommend but booking is essential. The chef is brilliant.Try the prawns during the week they are sooooo good!!!

Seriously good food, great options for veggies and carnivores alike, great service and a lovely vibe. We’ll keep coming back, it’s one of our faves

We always pay a visit to this pub when in Brighton and have never been disappointed. We had dinner here last night and opted for a selection of seafood dishes to share. The food was amazing and full of lovely flavours. The service was excellent, as always. I hope it won't be too long before we return. It's a very popular pub and so you definitely are advised to book a table.

Such a hidden gem! The food is delicious, good selection of drinks and friendly team! Cannot fault this place, very good vibe and atmosphere :)

·

Sunday lunch was amazing! Three veggie choices amongst the usual meat options.

·

In a word, superb. Wonderful familial atmosphere with food to match. Roast pork was cooked to perfection and a lovely pint of Guinness. Recommended.

·

Really disappointed with my roast dinner - i had the chicken roast but they failed to mention that the gravy had beef chunks in it which I can not eat, this was not written anywhere on the board. Although they did replace my meal, the veggie gravy they gave me was essentially a tomato soup, really awful. The staff were extremely unapologetic with bad customer service considering it was rated so highly. The portion was poor and the Yorkshire pudding was solid. Do not recommend, 'The Geese' across the road was much better

Nice food nice wine nice service. Disappointed 2 of the roasts weren't available (however, it was 5pm when we arrived)... but could have told us (or took it off menu) rather than wait until we ordered it. Overall, 4/5... would recommend - but wasn't quite as nice as previous visits a few months ago when it was 5/5 every time
