Decent burger and chips. Bit pricey but to be expected in that location

Lovely pit stop on dog walk along the promenade. Nice coffee and tea. Breakfasts are great!

·

Always smiley & helpful staff, a fabulous menu, loads of drinks (hot or cold), cheaper than a lot of places - and they do take outs! All the seats & tables are outside, so it's a super place to settle for a snack or drink. Especially after a stroll along the promenade. They also sell locally produced cards!

Lots of seating and nice location. However there did not seem to be much evidence of coffee in the coffee.

·

Great place to meet friends. Great people serving, great smiles, friendly and really reasonable prices. Great location.

·

Lovely to sit in the sun eating lunch on the beach front. Friendly staff, simple food, great location.

We only had an ice cream with flake but was very surprised they fill the whole cone up with ice cream and not just the top like you would get in London. Very thick and creamy cream. Tasty

·

Nice place. We went twice on our trip. Dog friendly if you keep them on a lead. Can Recommend the bacon and egg toasted bap.

I have been coming to the lawns cafe for 17 years, and have always loved the location and found the staff really friendly and efficient. The last 2 times, however, the service had been really poor. The first occasion the young server took forever to get my simple order (usually just a toasted tea cake)because she kept getting distracted and serving other customers. The second time they completely forgot to my order and I had to go up and remind then. By then my coffee was cold! I was not given an apology and was made to feel I was being impatient. I don't know if there has been a change in management, but it has not been a good experience, which is a shame as the teacake, when it did arrive, was very nice.
