Best Tom-Yum I ever had, I suspect the food is slightly mellowed out to suit the overall british palate as Thai can be notoriously spicy but this didn't impact my enjoyment at all and the dishes were still pleasantly hot. Delicious red curry and deceptively large bowls that hold a lot more than they appear to. Left full and satisfied. A little bit pricey for a student but these are the costs of being an independent business competing with restaurant chains that have economies of scale & supply chains. Lovely service & decor. Would love to visit again when I'm not as skint a student.PS.Don't listen to so called 'foodies' who believe there is double cream in Thai curry, it is thickened with coconut milk and I found it to be suitable for dairy-allergy sufferers.

I've never eaten in (only takeaway) but the food is great, lots of authentic thai flavours and really tasty. The restaurant is small, with only a few tables, essentially the front room of a house hidden unexpectedly halfway down an otherwise mostly residential road. The decor, too, is basic and kind of cafe-like, and it's clear the whole operation is a small team, probably husband and wife. What's nice about that is that it has a real down-home, friendly feel. And I think that's reflected in the food, which is like going to dinner at the home of a Thai friend who makes a mean massaman curry.

Delicious food, a comfortable and cozy dining room and great service. The green curry with prawns was just amazing. Highly recommended.

Thank you Tookta for a wonderful evening. A very welcome, cozy and friendly atmosphere. The food was amazing. We all ordered different dishes and it was all good. I can't wait to visit again next time we are in the area. Would recommend

Nestled in a slightly small street within Brighton central. This authentic family Thai restaurant is rather petit in space but packs a punch with its quality and proportioned food. The staff was super hospitable as we were lucky to enjoy the place as a walk in with a pram. Would recommend and go again but remember to pre-book.

This is a very cute restaurant but the food was disappointing. I am really confused by the other reviews who have said this is authentic Thai food. The food is nothing like any Thai food I have ever eaten in Thailand or at any good Thai restaurant in in the UK. The presentation was beautiful and service was good and the ambience was lovely, really intimate and perfect for a romantic meal as you are very closely seated. However, the food was lacking. The sauce for the Thai Red curry was overpowered with double cream and tasted like an English tomato soup, and similarly the Matsuman curry had the same creamy taste and texture. We picked out the meat to eat with the rice because we were hungry. The spicy squid was battered, soggy and oily in a sweet sticky sauce without a hint of spice. The Tom yum soup base was the best part of the meal and was spicy and delicious but the mushrooms were raw. I had high hopes for this place but I wouldn't go again. It may be that the owners have adapted the taste to the local clientele and that's why the curries were creamy and sweet. Not really a place for foodies.

If I'm ever in brighton again I'm definitely booking a table here. The food was cooked just the way you like it. You can tell a lot of hard work goes into making the food perfect. Squid was beautifully seasoned. Chicken Red Curry was tasty and chicken cooked perfectly tender. The padthai was yummy with a nice portion of chili flakes on the side. We really enjoyed the food and the company was awesome. the drinks where not over priced. And it was a sell out evening as every table had been taken up and we had to leave swiftly at 8 to acomadate the next dinners we where given good pre warning so we really didn't mind plus nobody should miss out on good food like this. Until the next time.

My husband and I had dinner there for our anniversary. What a little treasure. Cosy but comfortable. Vibrant and fun atmosphere. Food was delectable. Bursting with flavour. Fresh. Pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived. Would HIGHLY recommend. We live in Milton Keynes and look forward to our next trip just so we can eat there again. Compliments to the chef. LOVED it!!

Great place for Thai food. There is a bit of a wait for miains, so you may want to order starters if you want to snooze that initial hunger. The food is definitely worth the wait as the cuisine is fresh and full of flavour a real taste of Thailand. The word has spread quickly so it's worth booking or coming before peak.
