Good but slow service, polite and helpful staffs, but not a great ambience. However, outside seating provide better atmosphere in good and sunny weather.

We sat down for a drink and a snack.Drinks arrived but took 40 mins for nachos.I'd already requested my money back and to cancel the order when they eventually arrived. To be asked do I still want them!!No one actually apologized for the delay or that the waitress never checked back. Also they do make you pay upfront. Two stars for the beer and the no quibbles refund.

Good but slow service, polite and helpful staffs, but not a great ambience. However, outside seating provide better atmosphere in good and sunny weather. The toilets are in a pit shape and some fittings have been ripped out of the walls but never replaced.Food is reasonably priced but the menu is limited for choice.

Made the mistake of not reading the reviews before eating here. Just awful. Rarely served worse food for our children. Pizza wasn’t pizza. Mac and cheese was flour paste. Soggy scampi, poor quality burger. On the upside, brilliant location. Trying to be fair…

Most terrible experience. We have ordered our food but order didn’t go through then the other waitress came to take order. Orders came after 30min. We have ordered mini pizza for my toddler. Instead of pizza they brought bread with tomato paste on it. I have ordered classic chicken cesar salad. It was written on the menu as a “classic chicken cesar” not chicken bacon. But came with bacon no cherries at all. And lettuce was not washed. Go there just for drinks. Food is awful

Deliciously filling food. Although for the salad, nice to have the wild rice but felt would work well warm among the other veg and especially with the salmon.Pork belly was a great recommendation. Both were very filling for a reasonable price. However, the 3 of 5 stars was due to the sticky table. We definitely saw them cleaning but either that the cleaning product isn’t up to scratch or the staff isn’t using elbow grease. The worse thing to be remembered by is “sticky tables” and not “great food”. Hope to see some change before next visit.Despite this the staff who were working that day seemed to be attentive, quick and friendly.

Very poor service!! Staff is not interested, prefer chatting with themselves and if you call them, they look at you annoyed!! The restaurant manager should pay more attention to staff, if they are not performing, take action?Yesterday I was there with 3 friends, they didn't even bother to clear our plates! Shame as the food is decent and location amazing, but with such awful service I'm not sure if I go back again!!

Dunno what all the others are complaining about. Very nice vegan and non-vegan food well presented, quite cheap, unbeatable views and chilled vibe. Absolutely perfect for a nice meal and drink on the beach. Spectacular views. Will happily come again.

We visited here on 17/8/21 for lunch as they had a vegan option I wanted to try.I ordered the vegan fish and chips and my boyfriend had fish and chips. We were served very quickly and the food arrived quick too. Both of us really enjoyed the food. The vegan fish perhaps could have had a little more flavour but I still really enjoyed it. The only, very tiny, criticisms I had were that the chips weren't actually chips, they were fries which was a little disappointing and also mine was a very small portion compared to the actual fish my boyfriend ordered. We would happily visit again!

The third star is for the location: bang opposite the remains of Brighton West Pier, next to the sea, that was exactly what I wanted. The food was not so great. We went there twice as our hotel didn’t offer breakfast and this was the closest place that did or so.The first time, the main complaint was that the fried eggs were not quite cooked so we had to scrape off what wasn’t cooked. The avocado was too hard. There was no crab for the crab benedict. The second time: in addition to the fried eggs still not being quite cooked, the West Beach Breakfast was missing the black pudding, they still didn’t have crab (update your menu!!!) so the salmon egg benedict came with not enough hollandaise and too much salmon, but the avocado was much better quality. We were very hungry so whatever was edible got eaten but we would have liked to see some improvement. We will only come back for drinks and because the location is superb. No more food from there for us though …
