You can always be assured a cheery welcome on visiting the Woodingdean Fish Bar The quality of the fish and chips is excellent ,freshly cooked with a crispy batter not overly greasy.The portion sizes are very generous and very competitive in price . Thanks guys A+++++

The best fish and chips I have ever had. Haddock is amazing even after being in a bag for a while (still crunchy). Very friendly atmosphere. Thank you for the expirence. This is a must visit in the local area.

This is usually a great chippy but the last time me and my partner got cod each they had bones in it and was more oily than usual. It this happens again, I definitely won't be going back there. Shame as its really good valve for Brighton.

On holiday in Brighton staying at the caravan park at East Brighton Park. Was looking for a fish and chip shop and decided on this place. The quality of the food was excellent. Lovely sized portion and very fresh fish. Would be more than happy to recommend this place and will definitely use them again.

It's hard to write this article because I have eaten here for years, but in the past year, it's become difficult to ignore the decline in quality with the food. The batter on the Cod used to be really nice and crispy, but nowadays is really oily and sodden, almost like the dryer is broken or something? Chips used to be amazing are now really average. Unfortunately I now take my custom elsewhere.

First ever visit. Two guys serving. Friendly, let me know that my fish would be a few minutes (a good thing). On appearance, it looked a bit oily, but both the fish and chips tasted very good. Recommended.
