Amazing restaurant with fantastic staff. Very clean and we'll decorated. Nice gentle music in the background.Genuine authentic Turkish menu. The flavours are unreal. You won't be disappointed and you certainly won't leave Feeling hungry.I had the King prawns to start, the sauce was amazing even my wife who doesn't eat fish enjoyed the sauce with Pitta bread. Prawns were also really nice quality and cooked really well.My wife had Mititi kofte, again fantastic starter.Main I had Halep Kebab, which was unreal. Well recommend, a nice kick to it but not so spicy a wimp like me couldn't enjoy it. Simply brilliant.My wife had mixed shish with yogurt. The lamb was amazing, chicken brilliant the sauce again fantastic, well recommend.We enjoyed a few cocktails aswell.We ordered x2 Al a Turka delights. Such a beautiful cocktail well recommend, presentation was superb. You'd think we was in a top London cocktail bar. £8.95. 100% worth it.I also enjoyed a "Hugo" which has become my new favorite cocktail. Sensational.In summery, 100% return again. Well recommend. Zero faults. Very reasonable price for the quality and amount of food given.Must visit!!Visited for my wife's Birthday. 10/06/2022.

Fantastic food. We ordered the Ala Turks Special Platter. It was enough for 5 of us. All the meats were cooked to perfection and super tasty.Highly recommended.

This is a lovely little restaurant. Chicken casserole was very nice, and came with a large serving of salad, chips & a basket of warm bread that they insisted on refilling. Wine selection is not too bad, either. The service was great without being intrusive.

The meal is very delicious, the place is warm, but very long and personal really not smiling especially the lady, The smile should be free.

Excellent food and professional, attentive staff. Don’t be fooled by it’s location in Northgate. A La Turka is authentic and one of the best restaurants in Canterbury.They also have great mocktails if you are driving.

Fantastic meal, great quality good tasting food left feeling totally full. Would highly recommend. Went at 4pm so nice and quiet but good music and nice and warm so atmosphere good.

Wonderful service and amazing staff. We came here for my graduation meal, we had to leave early as we were running late and could not eat the food, so they reheated the food for us on the grill when we came back after the ceremony, despite closing they stayed open for us. It was much appreciated and would definitely come back here again. One of the best Turkish meals we had!

Fantastic local restaurant, great menu with lots of options. The food is delicious every time we visit and we are never disappointed. The price is real value for money. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service is always excellent. This is a great place for Christmas work parties, family celebrations or a regular meal out. Highly recommended.

The food was really really delicious! The portions are big. The service was quick and spotless! The staff was friendly! The place is neat! We will go back again!😊👍Oh I forgot to say! The desert was fantastic too!😋

Amazing! The food was so good and it’s more filling than it looks. I had the Lamb shish with yogurt (chef special) and my goodness it was delicious. I had a side of bulger which was a tasty change to rice. The table also gets a sharing salad and flat bread which compliments the meal perfectly. Was so good I ordered a takeaway version on Uber eats a few days later and and extra to take home with me back to london the following day.Price wise, it is a little pricy but standard for eating out at a nice restaurant. Around £30-£40 a head with starters and alcoholic drinks.Highly recommend.
