Unfortunately the restaurant served warm wine, they ran out of chicken then rice and as the two main ingredients of our meals it was disappointing. This was on a Saturday evening at about 8pm....we left so didn't get to taste the food to know whether it was good or not.

Mixed feelings about our visit, we hadn't visited in a couple of years when a lunch time buffet was on which was brilliant and a good variety.Yesterday when we visited it was a set lunchtime menu and no buffet for over 2 years. The Lamb Tagine was beautiful and the portion sizes was brilliant. At peak lunch period we were the only people in the restaurant however our previous visit at lunch time was packed. If we were in Canterbury again then we would definitely visit but I would much rather a buffet so you can sample many of the dishes

We visited this restaurant while coming back from the abbey.Clean premises, friendly staff, good food.We went for* soup - very tasty and warming especially at the current cold weather* lamb shish (comes with rice and salad) - good size portion.* lamb tagine (comes with sauce, some potatoes and rice on a side) - nice and warm, not amazing.Prices are sensible - good meal with some bottled water cost us 35 pounds for two adults.

I had a good, hearty vegetable tagine. This seemed very much like the meat tagine my wife had, but without the meat. That might just sound like stating the obvious, but maybe a few extra veg?The mixed starters with bread were interesting, and probably my favourite part of the meal. The coffee was *extremely* weak. Apologies to Moroccan coffee sensibilities if this is a cultural thing, but it wasn’t to my taste. It was certainly galactic-class orders of magnitude weaker than the Turkish style coffee I was expecting. But the cinnamon was an interesting touch, so it’s really a shame about the lack of coffee oompf.Overall the ambience of the place was pleasant, if a little faded. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.Prices seemed a tad on the steep side, but maybe I just don’t get out enough these days. Like I said, it’s been a tough couple of years…

Very nice seating. As an algerian, it fits perfectly the Mediterranean style. The food is delicious. Felt like home. The service is as well nice and the prices were reasonable for such famous dishes.

We just finished our dinner at this nice Lebanese/ Moroccan restaurant. Generous portions, freshly made, quality ingredients! Very friendly staff and aromatic dishes! Great Moroccan wine!

What a restaurant!Decor warm and invitingMenu full of our favourite regional dishes. More tagines than we had time to try.Cold mezze was most excellent. Hummus especially. Flat breads were outstanding - just the right amount of charWe also ordered a banana ganoush, which was divine 😋Choice of regional wines too. We had a red which matched just right 🍷Highly recommended

Not bad, very filling but not as spicy as I'd like. Authentic Eastern food should be spiced well.

I absolutely love getting takeaway from Azouma! The tagines are so tasty, flavourful and portion sizes are fantastic and filling! The lentil soup is my favourite starter. I highly recommend, especially since they cater for gluten and dairy intolerances well.

It was our first time visiting Azouma, but I saw all the google reviews and wanted to try it out for myself. Fist and foremost, the staff are so welcoming and helpful, alongside that, the all you can eat buffet is only around £10! My partner and I tried everything at the buffet and honestly I could not fault the food at all! The quality of the food is amazing and on top of that, you can help yourself to a piece of cake or two ( or as I did, ALL of them lol)! If you’re ever visiting Canterbury, I highly recommend this restaurant as it offers great quality food for an affordable price!
