Cafe des Amis in Canterbury

Amazing food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Shared the chicken fajitas for main which come out sizzling and you are given the option to refill fillings and wraps, although we didn’t need to. Also, shared the chocolate fondue for dessert which came with churros, a variety of fruit and cream. My kind of food, would definitely come back!

If you're in Canterbury and want great food, go here!The staff were very friendly, the food was unbelievable, good size portions and well presented!I had one of the best burritos I've ever had there, try the spicy beef burrito! Not too spicy and the flavour was incredible!They also do great cocktails and the decor/vibe of the restaurant is brilliant!

How isn't anyone talked about this ? My husband and I came for a visit from London and boy this is by far the most amazing Authentic Mexian/South American restaurant we have ever been in and it's in the heart Cantebury !? What a hidden gem ! I wish they open another branch in London so we can visit more often. Fantastic service, food, athmosphere I mean what else can you ask for ?

Lovely little restaurant with beautiful cocktails Nacho's were delicious we had the pork & beef. The lamb stew was unreal but a little disappointed with the beef burrito.

Wonderful Mexican food ... We had wonderful evening in Cafe Des Amis and the food was amazing. The background music was awesome. The service was excellent.

One of the best Mexican food I had. There are so many maxican restaurants out there, which serve you low quality mish mash. This is truly a gem and authentic maxican flavours. And service with a smile from all waiters. Could not recommend high enough.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! The tex mex food was very tasty and the restaurant also had a lovely atmosphere. The photos on the website don't do the atmosphere/vibe justice. Would definitely recommend!

Heaven! I have lived in the UK for a little over 5 years and have struggled to find Mexican food that compares to Mexican food we have in the US. Cafe Des Amis was a pleasant surprise! Not sure if my taste buds have changed after 5 years, but I thought the fajitas were absolutely delicious. The guacamole and salsa tasted fresh and the margarita was strong!My only complaint is that this restaurant is 3+ hours from where I live, so I probably can't have it weekly :(The staff were great and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Next time I'm in Canterbury, I will definitely be stopping by.

Visited for Lunch and left very satisfied and with a full stomach.Staff were extremely nice and helpful with the menu.Food Quantity was plenty, and the taste was definitely nice too! In addition, everything arrived very quickly and was hot!
