Forgetful service. Untidy. Dirty toilets.

Miserable slow service, despite the place being nearly empty. Ordered a Mocha. Received a tepid cup of tastless brown liquid.

Best coffee I've had in a while, especially when compared to all the other big high Street coffee brands. And the staff were also very good. Spacious sitting all the way on the top floor

I like Nero coffee but boy oh boy the service in this Canterbury High St shop is so atrocious. I’ve visited for the last time. Slow, inattentive, forgetful. It’s painful watching them. Make me feel like I should apologise for bothering them. Also painful having to clean your own table and remind them about the cake you ordered but didn’t receive.

Lovely building, nice staff. However, worn and shabby inside. Urgently needs a decorating refresh and toilets need updating.

Drinks are really nice. But the chairs are outdated and old not overly comfortable, no signal or WiFi so if ylu want a tea and catch up on emails you have to sign in via the Canterbury WiFi. Shared male and female toilets.

The Cafe Nero at Canterbury town was amazing. They let us in with our dog and also offered her some treats. What a lovely gesture.

Only one member of staff seemed to be on duty. Table showing signs of previous customer(s) - light sprinkling of sugar crystals on table - obviously not wiped down between customers.

I love this Nero, the staff are always friendly and inviting and serve you with a smile. The turnover of staff seems less than the other in Canterbury and generally they remember you and your standard order. Even if I have been in Italy for 3 months! The coffee is good and the food is served with a smile and a chat, even if only a couple of words because they are busy. The manager and staff are all amazing. This is my go-to coffee place in Canterbury. Highly recommend
