Always loved Chom Chom and have been going for years. The service was very friendly. It was our first buffet since 2019 and Unfortunately the main dishes were not as nice as they used to be (but bland) and shocked there were no Thai dish as they are amazing. You can still get noodles cooked and naan bread. The sides and desserts hadn’t changed which was good but the highlight of the meal was the soft serve ice cream. I understand that hospitality has really suffered but i wouldn’t mind paying more for the food for a better selection. I wish Chom Chom all the best in these difficult times.

Just had to come back.Chom Chom sets the bar for all you can eat asian delicacy, their uncompromising range of options is backed by their willingness to cooked noodles and Naans to your own taste. Although their deserts are of a more basic calibre the ability to customise your ice cream does not go unnoticed. £15 for lunch even after brexit is hard to argue, and from my economic perspective i struggle to understand how the business stays afloat. I strongly urge you not to miss Canterburys finest all you can eat buffet, and this is coming from one of the harshest critics in the business. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We've been coming to this place for many years. We came back for first time since the start of pandemic yesterday for my best friends birthday with our daughters. How very disappointed we all were. A lot less choice. Food was bland and not nice at all. Staff unfriendly and to top it off I've been awake since 4am with a dodgy belly. So sad as for a buffet this was always the best by far. Won't be coming back

Honestly, you pay for what you get. 6 of us and had drinks (inuding 2 children) for less then £70. The variety is basic but the quality is very good.

Absolutely appalled by this place, looking at reviews and rating decided to give it a go.Quite disappointed with the food as it was too bland or lack of flavour. Customer service was abysmal only 2 waitress 1 that didn’t know anything and the other was having a lack of work ethic dragging tables and chairs across the floor.Following that my friend discovered a hair in her food and we sat for 15 mins waiting for a staff member to be in sight to talk to them. When we managed to flag them didn’t come to us when there is only 3 tables in the restaurant. So decided to talk to the manager and he tried to make as if the hair wasn’t even there when confronted then when he took the stuff away and came with the bill it was only 20% not even considering she didn’t even touch the food then he proceeded to basically say that it was other customers hair and didn’t take fault of the mistake. It was like having to battle for a decision that should be make clearly .

One of the best restaurants I've been to ! The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are lovely, and the choice you have is great ! Definitely recommend this place if you're a lover of Asian food

Excellent food, a fusion of Indian and Chinese, so curry with prawn toasts was different but delicious.Only downside was access for wheelchair user from front entrance, as main seating, food and toilets were downstairs , although easily rectified as we went round to the rear entrance in the car park.Staff very attentive. Will definitely use again.

The food was good the service was quite slow and nearly died of thirst. Massively reduced the savoury options for food so is only really Chinese and Indian, was a much more varied Asian selection in previous visits. They hiked the price up for the buffet, which wasn't very fourth coming, festive price made it £20 each instead of the expected and advertised £16.95.

Delicious cuisine, enough food even though the buffet option was unavailable. One of the best mohitos I've had so far. I recommend it to everyone!

The food was ok but not amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful but the service was really slow. We went for Menu C which is meant to be 'eat as much as you can', but this really only seemed to be for the starters, as when I asked how it all worked the waiter serving us mentioned (twice) you can keep reorder food from the starters but not from the main menu??Maybe I miss understood, the waiter was wearing a mask and there was high background noise. But something I should note is that I did notice menus being taken from table to table by the staff without being cleaned, I understand that we sanitised our hands when we entered the restaurant but not everyone does and no one is checking. Understand with the way things are ChomChom can't go back to the way it was, but for me this was ok but didn't really make me want to go back.
