Gurkha Dine in Canterbury

My daughter booked a table for 4 for Fathers Day for 7pm. When we arrived all the doors and shutters closed signs stating Kitchen to rent. My wife asked in the Greek restaurantwas was told it closed a month ago restaurant.

Truly dreadful experience with this delivery.Nearly an hour late then a hair in the food.Called to complain and the manager was extremely rude. They expected me to either to take the food back or wait for a driver to collect it. The manager was extremely rude, would never use again.

Absolutely terrible service! One main meal didn’t arrive and when we call to inform them, we were accused of eating it?? They told us several times the kitchen had packed it and we must have had it. After waiting an hour for delivery we certainly wouldn’t have said we didn’t have it if we did?? The staff were very rude on the phone and when we requested a refund for the missing meal, we were shouted at and told to call the police? I have never had such bad service or horrific attitudes from a takeaway establishment ever. We were first time customers and should have been treated with a little more respect - certainly no way to run a business

CongratulatIons to Kiran/new management team.We ordered a take away, and after a little longer than expected wait we were not disappointed. Both the staff member on the phone and the driver were professional and pleasant. The food, as alway was delicious. Thank you Kiran for reaching out, I am so happy your restaurant/take away is an option for me again. I have always loved the menu and the food is of high quality and tasty. I will defiantly be ordering again and coming back to the restaurant.Highly recommend.2019:Ordered take away food at 6.30pm, now 9.10pm. Food still not arrived, apparently they delivered it to the wrong address. Now blaming this on us. We have CCTV and can prove that they did not deliver the food to my house. Can’t believe the truly shocking and extremely BAD customer service. They are liars. DO NOT ORDER A TAKEAWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT.

Found staff to go above and beyond in order to provide hungry people with a meal! We arrived after they had closed but they still cooked us a lovely tasty meal to takeaway! Naveen and the chef were lovely accommodating people who had time for a chat and a drink with us even though they were ready to lock up!! Food very tasty, definitely a must if you are looking for a quality takeaway or sit down meal. A massive thumbs up from us!!

Having eaten in a couple of other Nepalese/Indian restaurants this one tops the lot so far.Worth going a little further out of Canterbury,although only 5 minute walk from the centre, the service was excellent throughout.The two mains we ordered were part of the chef's special range and both were of the highest quality.Highly recommended.

I’ve only had the takeaway from this establishment (via JustEat), but what a find! If you like your Asian food, then you’ll love this place. Generous portions of high quality food beautifully cooked. Treat your taste buds, they deserve it!

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. After looking on line at all the Indian restaurants in Canterbury we decided on this one. It certainly didn’t disappoint. The staff were attentive, food hot and very tasty. We have had lots off Indians and this was one of the best .

Moved to the area recently. Had 1 take away which was about 1 half hours but when it did arrive fresh hot and tasty. A week later had friends to stay. Ordered... Chased 3 times. First being told our was on its way... second time told they were contacting driver and heard nothing back third time escalated and it arrived a little while later. Best part of 2.5 hours for delivery. No communication. Cold when arrived. Never got a call back messaged since and no replies.

The owner is lovely and the food is delicious! They were very kind and catered for our vegan needs. Will definitely be back! The only thing I would say is that the lighting was a bit too bright so didn't have a cosy atmosphere you get in most restaurants but that's just my preference! See you again soon!
