Happy Xpress Chinese in Canterbury

Thought i would try a different Chinese as my regular has had a change of hands, and im not enjoying it as much as i used to. Had a nice meal here, flavor was really good, did not have to wait long and was collected by my self. Only criticism i could give was i felt the portions for crispy chili beef and duck fried rice where a little small to what i am used to locally.

It's rare to find a Chinese takeaway that can cope with allergens (gluten and dairy in our case). Not only can they accommodate but the young blonde lady on the front desk is exceptionally helpful in this regard and goes out of her way to check and advise on ingredients. Super professional!

Good food and at a reasonable price point. They have a good range, with all the classic dishes. Portions are a good size. Only slightly disappointing aspect is the rice which tends to be a little bland.

Best Chinese food in Kent, good pricing and good standard menu no one does king prawn chow mein like them and the ribs are to die for.

Great food reasonable price..prawns were fab.

Good food and super Covid safe set up. No removing your mask to speak or worrying about not hearing them the speaker system is great

Messed up our order on new years eve. I understand it was busy. More than 2 hours wait. Went into the shop to pick up. I was told it'd take 10 minutes with no apologies and we waited in the car. Only for our order to be given to another customer and then told to wait again. It was a complete disaster.

Decent food but the receptionist is extremely rude. Went in asking for delivery and the lady called us "lazy sh*ts" as well as anyone who orders for delivery from Wincheap. Considering the pandemic this is particularly ridiculous and the driver was happy to oblige. Just an extremely unprofessional and rude receptionist.The order was also put in wrong which would not have happened if she were listening instead of staring at us with disgust. Delivery is free over a certain price which we doubled. Rang the manager who was nice but who seemed to do nothing to adress our complaints.WILL NOT BE RETURNING unless a new receptionist is hired.

Best Chinese I have ever had, well worth the wait! Decent price, friendly service, always look forward to getting it 😀😀
