Herne Bay Fish Bar in Canterbury

Ordered using there website which said 2 hour wait for delivery which as it is bank holiday i understand they might be busier than normal but to call them 20 minutes after the delivery time and then to be told it will be another 20 minutes is not on i have a young child waiting for his tea before he goes the bed which is normally 8pm don't think i will be using them again poor customer service.

Very impressed! . Visited for first time this evening. Food was hot , fresh and delicious. Served quickly from a very competent man -possibly the manager, who went out of his way to ensure we had our preferred order as quickly as possible.

We've had fish and chips from here several times and it's always good.

Lovely food here and we have never been disappointed. Everything freshly cooked and lovely tasty chips. Clean and well staffed and quick with delivery. The food always arrives piping hot. Would definitely recommend!

Orded gluten free fish and chips Very nice I didn't have any problems.

I went here as i saw it advertised gluten free meals. The fella behind the counter seemed to know what he was on about! And that's reassuring, even to the point of advising about the vinegar (barley in normal vinegar isn't coeliac friendly). I left with a menu which he marked with all the gluten free options, very helpful I'll be returning.

Great fish and chips!! Good portions, friendly staff.. usually chips from a chippy can be hit and miss but they always do fresh and tasty chips!Wouldn't go to any other fish and chip shop THIS IS THE ONE

Delicious Fish and Chips - exactly how they should be.Absolutely delicious, service was relaxed and welcoming. The fish was chunky and beautifully battered. The chips were very tasty. All in all one of the better places to get fish and chips who also deliver too. So definitely worth a visit. Whether it is for collection or ordering online.

Fish and chip perfection. And super friendly staff too. Incredibly welcoming to kids and doggies. Can’t recommend highly enough
