Makcari's Coffee Lounge & Ice Cream Parlour in Canterbury

I went there with my wife last week,we ordered fish and chips,never been eating nothing more disgusting! Fish was small(6inch ) , stinks,was not white but brown, nothing similar to fish,chips was hard as rock, salad - 🤮and we pay over 20£ for 2 with 2 small bottles of water,my wife stop me to get back there and throw this in to person who sale it to me!!! People don't go there!!!

Best GelatoIt is a ting shop but with very very good and tasty ice cream (but I just tried ice cream).Strongly recommend salted caramel one and lemon one. The salted caramel ice cream with such strong flavour but will only have the feeling of caramel but not the sticky sweet in your mouth. Lemon ice cream is very refreshing. It is sour with tiny bit of sweet hidden.All the others are great to try. They also have vegan version ice cream.

Technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped my 95 year old neighbor replace his very old panel and was courteous and amiable and even allowed him to show off his armed service patches and pictures. Company provided a Veteran discount and price was reasonable.

The smoothest, creamiest, tastiest ice cream I have ever had! Such a rich flavour - the chocolate has such a good flavour showing the signs of a proper, carefully homemade ice cream. Definitely coming back!

I understand prices have shot up recently, but £5 for a medium sized slushy is ridiculous. I can only blame myself for not asking for the price beforehand. Avoid!

Rude. Money hungry. Flavourless cheap ice cream charged at rip off prices. Min spend to make you spend more unless you have cash. We spent £6 on 2 small ice creams with cheap cones. When my daughter asked for tap water she was laughed at her and said no but if she wanted to pay £2 she would put some water in her bottle. Never have we been refused tap water from anywhere. Disgusting.

Terrible service, rude, ignored request for a single scoop in a cup - didn't even pause as we asked for such - because the cups are apparently for doubles only, and having a single in one would 'look silly'. Completely overpriced. Never go here.
