The wonderful people who work there. Another carer and I took our client to a wheelchair that requires ongoing care here. My client was welcomed instead of being ignored by staff members, they did everything possible to provide him with the best experience ever. Thank you very much indeed. We will certainly be back in the very near future!

We were in Kent visiting family and stayed overnight... drove into Herne Bay for a walk and popped in for a coffee... I had a full breakfast is was lovely.... my wife tried the bread pudding with a coffee and said it was wonderful.... great place for a quick snack or lunch....

Brilliant place, friendly, attentive, helpful staff, good food and a home made bread pudding to die for. Sit, eat and look at the sea, perfect. Highly recommended especially for motorcyclists as one of Herne Bay's premier meeting/eating places.

It was a cold morning and this was our first visit. A great place to stop, along the seafront, in the old Central Bandstand. Great coffee, a good menu and we thoroughly enjoyed the food that we ordered. Also, a great selection of gelato is available.

Don’t get confused there are 2 cafes near each other , both serving great food and drinks and amazing ice creams too . Visited the Bandstand Makcaris today , live music and great atmosphere, friendly staff and quick service , sunshine helped .Dog friendly too and great for people watching.

Had a very nice meal here and the staff were all very happy and nice. The food was tasty and of a decent size as well as from a varied and eclectic collection. My only criticisms would be that the food came out in a rather ad hoc fashion so some of us had meals and others had to wait 10 more minutes but that's a minor inconvenience made relatively insignificant compared to the good points

Fish and chips at the seaside in memory of our dad.He would have loved this place. Lovely fish.Good service. Pleasant staff.Good value for money.Well worth a visit. The cherry on the top was we could take our dog in.

Superb. Never been here before but will definitely be back. Excellent ice cream, really good coffee. People next to us had fish and chips which looked delicious. Everything you want from a seaside restaurant and parlour - highly recommended!

Came here for dinner during the week. Was about to leave after seeing how overpriced the menu was but they had 50% off. Quality of food was not good and the chips were undercooked.Very disappointing because the location is great and the view from the outdoor dining area is beautiful, but inside was very dirty. Would not recommend.

Seafront cafeteria, clearly very popular with locals, who greet each other as regulars. Great view of the sea, good breakfasts overlooking the newish harbour, an ice cream parlour helping to raise the tone of the town, noticeably uplifted since last visited and with fewer amusement grot-arcades.
