New Far East Chinese Takeaway in Canterbury

Had the set menu E for two people Staters & Mains really nice . Hot & fresh . Nice staff .

Delicious and plenty of it! We've ordered from this takeaway 5 times and on each occasion the quality has been superb. Simply the best Chinese cuisine. Highly recommended.

The BEST chinese i have ever had. I do not normally leave reviews but i had to on this occasion. The Singapore Fired rice was amazing. And the king prawns. 5 STAR. Would make the journey from London for this.

The prawn toast smelt gone off, the chicken was raw and the duck seemed about 3 days old and very very dry.I have had food here before, but today I spent more than 30 pounds and only to throw it away.(I never complain, but really feel this was a bad service and absolutely no offer of my money back)Avoid!!!!!!!

10th dec 2020My partner and I have been long time fans of new far east. Whenever family come to visit we order. For us the thing that set this place apart from other chinese takeaways was the perceived higher standard of raw ingredients and not just a luninous "english version" of a chinese dish. It truly saddens me to say that tonights meal was below par. We just felt that the spring rolls were lacking in contents and flavour and the sweet and sour chicken balls were exceptionally doughy and lacking in chicken. Maybe the chicken on skewers a little more "stretchy!?" I really hope the staff do not take this as a true "complaint" as such but rather that we truly hope that any menu changes and ingredients have been made due to falling on harder times (completely understandable!). We just hope this is a blip and something that will get back to normal soon (please!!). We are still currently loyal customers.

Best Chinese in Canterbury! Tasty, big portions, always happy staff. Ordered £100 of stuff the other week and was all great as normal and ready on time.Only 4 stars because they don't deliver, and their satay chicken is literally just sandwich chicken with peanut sauce.

Oh wow, this Chinese restaurant and takeaway is by FAR the best food I've tasted in my entire life. This was a great find. I first used this restaurant back in 2001 and on further visits, the last being 2018. They always remember me and are very welcoming but the food is outstanding. The quality and quantity are second to none, but the price is even better. I really don't know how they keep their prices so low. Please, if you happen to go to Shanklin on the Isle of Wight make sure you visit this wonderful establishment, you won't be disappointed. If I could give this 10 stars I most certainly would. Best food ever.

In my opinion the best Chinese Takeaway in Canterbury. Best Chilli Beef by far. I have to pass 3 other Chinese takeaways to get to this Takeaway. Have been using this place for 20 years plus with no issues. Good choice menu. Gluten free and vegan could be highlighted more clearly.

One of the best in Canterbury by far! Staff are really friendly definitely worth traveling too if you’re just outside of Canterbury. Crispy beef was really good and the chicken balls were something else !!
