What a hidden gem.From the outside you wouldn't guess the great food that is waiting for you on the inside.Not that the outside is shabby at all.Inside as you enter is a lovely little bar with a wide choice of alcohol.The owner is friendly and welcoming and happy to chat.The service is prompt and efficient.The food is amazing. Full of flavour and decent portion sizes. The cost is good even for lobster.The choice of food is also great.The presentation of the food is enticing and astetically pleasing.We had a lovely meal and enjoyable time here.Will absolutely be going back for more, we travelled from North Kent to come here and it was worth it. 👌I can't recommend it highly enough.

Visited twice in the last month and hands own the best experience both times. Flawless from start to finish. Oysters were incredible, lobster devine, smokehouse platter was unreal. The only thing better than the food was the cocktails, they were made with passion and every single one was incredible. The owner is a credit to his craft.

Still has the oyster & chop logo on the window...but this is a lobster & BBQ restaurant now. You can have oysters...but also burgers, steaks, lobster. All high quality. After Xmas, they are adding a cocktail menu & extended wine list.Good for families as large tables available. Good access.

Had the 1/2 lobster and prawns and mussels seafood platter there. Lobster is really fresh and taste good when it’s hot. Happy hour 5-6pm deal is amazing. Kids meals eat free and 20% off the food. Cocktail and pints are good deal. Ribs we order are massive and we have to take away half of it. Nice little restaurant and good service. We had a good evening there.

It was a lovely late lunch at Oyster and Chop House.Lobster & seafood was fresh and delicious as well as beef ribs.Friendly staff and reasonable prices.I can highly recommend this place and I am looking forward to my next visit!

Mussels and the slice of bread was definitely the best part of the meal. Would go again just for that but the lobster wasn't as tasty. Probably needed more sauce.

What a find!! Laid back culinary delights in HERNE BAY?!! 🦀 🍖🥗Fantastic food... generous portions of succulent seafood... sticky baby back ribs... tasty mac'n'cheese... the best lobster and crab I've had in the UK! Lovely attentive staff, cool atmosphere. Did I mention perfect fries... perfect! In all honesty I woke up the next morning thinking about how great the food was... and then the next day... and then the next day...
