Palace Chinese Takeaway in Canterbury

All l can say is the best bit about that £38 takeaway was the fortune cookie! Worst chinese l.ve had in a long time! Greasey horrible taste waste of money 😡

This is the best chinese in Canterbury. Never had issues with delivery even late at night. Very happy staff and over all food sobered me up. Couldn't suggest more for a likkle midnight snack. 👌

Almost 2 hours for delivery., Wont be ordering from Yummy King again. Food is good but not willing to wait that long when expected time is 45 mins

Scammers don’t order from here unplaced an order of £18 with 3 items and some of it was not in stock and they wouldn’t cancel my order I was told it would be cancelled but I’ve been charged and apparently it’s been delivered scammers don’t order from here very rude lady on the phone and unprofessional

A child about the age of 7 picked up the phone call. The child was unable to write down addresses and understand my order. The untrained, young, child took long with my order.

Absolutely delicious takeaway and friendly service. The chicken satay and chow mein were great. This is a fairly new takeaway and restaurant and it's so much better than the place that was there before!! I'm a fan!

This is now a takeaway, the reviews currently showing here do not relate to this business. The previous owners ran it as a buffet style restaurant that also did take away, this new venture has only been open for a couple of weeks, as at end of March, 2021.It also runs an oriental food shop.

Was expecting a full authentic experience with it also being chinese new year, really disappointing, no decorations or celebrations of any kind. Food was good but very basic, lots of dishes unavailable. Had booked well in advance expecting a atmospheric evening, such a shame that more was not made of it and we would probably not travel that far again as other closer similar establishments would have given us a better experience.

Love this place. Used to be weekly regulars during uni days, now just when we’re back in town visiting friends. Great selection of food and prompt service albeit sometimes they can be too quick to ask for orders. It’s a large open dining room so it can be quite noisy when busy, I wouldn’t recommend this place for a quiet/intimate date. The selection of starters are great with lots of choices of mains and accompaniments. Great for a large group but would recommend booking in advance as this place gets packed out at the weekends. Food is served fresh and fast and they offer real loose leaf jasmine and Chinese tea.
