Have frequented this 'greasy spoon' on and off for years and never been let down with the service and quality of grub. A traditional cafe with no frills and good old fashioned service.

A simple but lovely little cafe that serves the best fish and chips in England ... well, at least the parts I have visited. Great service with happy employees and happy guests! Thanks from Texas USA.

This place is good value for money the food is nice nice atmosphere too only thing I found we sat down and the waitress wanted to know what we wanted to drink straight away we hadn't even had time to look

Nice traditional cafe but a bit pricy for what you get £7.95 for a breakfast with a cup of tea. Bit stuffy inside, no ventilation and bit difficult to get around, not for the disabled / wheel chair users. Also, needs decorating and sprucing up a bit 😕

Rubbish service, waited for 15 minutes, staff ignored us, despite another customer pointing out we were waiting when she paid her bill.

Honestly wasn't expecting much as this was the recommended restaurant on a tour, but was impressed with the kind service of the staff. Food was pretty decent and would recommend this spot to friends.
