Pizza Express in Canterbury

Very friendly service at pizza Express Canterbury from the moment we arrived, even while waiting for our table. The food was good and the ambience likewise. I would happily recommend a visit.

Ordered the vegan margarita and vegan American hot pizza. Unfortunately, the taste was pretty mediocre and didn't feel like they were made with any passion. On the small side for a pizza in this prize range. Nice location and friendly staff, though. Probably won't go there again as Canterbury has plenty of other restaurants that serve better vegan food.

I must say the food was extremely tasty. I opted for the calzone. One of the best I have had for taste. My only negative would be the size of it. Very small and only served with a handful of leaves it does not warrant the nearly £16.00 price tag.Keep the Great taste, bigger size like other restaurants serve in the area and your on to a winner.The size would put me off buying it again.

We came during the week so it was very quiet, only 2 other tables were taken. Our waitress was lovely and the food came quickly. The only fault I had was being sat under air con or something that was constantly blowing dust all over our food not sure if it was coming from a vent or the ceiling. I would return but would ask to be sat somewhere else.

I really do like Pizza Express. This big branch in Canterbury has always been very good.Lovely river views and good service.Doughballs a success and tasty pizza.I don’t see why anyone would ever say bad things about Pizza Express. 😎

We have just had a fabulous meal at the Canterbury Pizza Express. The staff were so welcoming to us and our little girl. They all went out of their way to make her smile which in turn always makes us smile. The food was delicious and service was impeccable. Stsff and Manager are a true credit. Thankyou. We will hopefully see you again when visiting Canterbury.

Very busy restaurant booked, we booked a table, they kept us waiting for 20 mins past our booked table time and then gave our table to the person behind us in the queue. When we did get seated, it took an hour to get the main meal. The food was very good. However, the service and staffing appeared chaotic.

Came here two weeks ago with my 3 year old daughter as she wanted pizza for dinner. I have very extreme social anxiety and being in places make me nervous. The waitresses were so lovely to both me and my girl, they were so helpful and explained the menu as we've both veggie. There was a good variety to choose from. Thankyou so so much for the service, I will definitely be coming back soon!

Loved eating here. Staff very friendly and efficient. Me and my friend were provided an indoor seat but we much preferred outside. Staff provided fluffy blankets and the food was very good! Especially the cheese bites! Only downside is when eating outside, those queuing to go in, tend to stand far too close to you eating. Especially when those were smoking in the que next to us whilst we were eating. Otherwise, good value for money, would come again.
