Salt Marsh in Canterbury

Haven't been in a long time (pre covid) but what a treat, exceptional taste and presentation of the dishes.... Great food and service. If you want a special night out, here's your place!

Easily one of the best eateries in town. Food has always been consistently good and high quality, the staff is friendly and attentive and every time I come here I enjoy the food and leave with a smile on my face.

Our first time in this restaurant and will definitely be returning. Not only is the building beautiful but the staff and food were lovely. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing here! The mushroom risotto was one of the best I have tried, highly recommend. Nice fusion twist to some of the traditional dishes such as the roasted pork sided by kimichi and rice. The “sushi” starter is also really tasty. Price are very reasonable for the high standard food you get.

Amazing kick in the sense!!We went to Cafe du Soleil without a previous book. We didn't what to expect.Surprisingly all food is delicious and has delightful flavours.Excellent choice on the menu.The special lamb shank looks amazing!😋The decoration is relaxing, with plants separating you from other guests, giving you some privacy.The hosts are politely friends.Reasonable prices.Definitely return!!🤗

OMG, the truffle parmesan fries though! And I’m no expert but the best sticky toffee pudding ever- will be comparing every other one I ever have to this benchmark. Great atmosphere, good value and overall worthwhile dining experience- attentive, friendly service and good food. I’ll be back!

Great location, friendly staff and very good service! Nice atmosphere.We had the calamari starter, it was mediocre at best, a lot of batter and not much squid.Mains were very tasty and big portion sizes (although a little bit salty for my personal preference).

Love the place! Their course is reasonable and of course, the meal was amazing! We ordered beef carpaccio, Lamb burger and duck. They were all so tasty and something that I can’t cook at home. The staff was very professional and kind too. When we visit Canterbury again, we’ll definitely come back to this excellent restaurant.
