Had a lovely family meal here with a spectacular sunset view! I had the sweet potato curry and it was the nicest curry I've had in years! Everyone liked their meals and the service was friendly.

Easy to get a table, service was polite and friendly. Took a couple of people with me and all confirmed that food was good and that they would go again. We sat outside for drinks before going to our table as the place has a good sea view but would be a little too chilly to eat out this time of year. This is also my 'go to' pub for when I'm in the area.

Really nice food and the staff were great. We had to sit outside due to being busy but that wasn't an issue as it wasn't cold. We left full and happy and that's all you you want when eating out. Would definitely go again.

This place is brilliant, right on the seashore, high up, magnificent view on the coastline and of course on the sea, even when there's low tide🙂. You can choose to sit outside, right above the waves crashing on the cliffs. The food is good, and it feels even better it that kind of environment. If you're up for it, you can leave the car behind in the town and do the little Viking Coastal path walk to the restaurant. It's not far away at all. Highly recommend.

I went to this restaurant for the view. While seated you can't see much of the sea because of the position of the windows. I stood up at one point (WEARING A MASK) and walked a few steps to get closer to the window for a second to glance at the sea. Very quickly I was told off by the waiter who said he can't have people wandering through the restaurant. I was not wandering through the restaurant! As there was hardly anyone in the restaurant at the time, I wasn't even close to anyone for them to be concerned about social distancing. I understand we need to adhere to social distancing rules, but I don't think ditching common sense and politeness is a good idea. Did not appreciate the attitude! As for the food, it was quite unimpressive and pricey. Also there very little choice, it's more like a pub, less like a restaurant menu.

Beautiful setting and the location on the sea and the way it's set out means it's sheltered from the wind which is great when you're sitting outdoors. Service was very friendly and food was delicious. Particularly enjoyed the burgers (beef and blue cheese and spicy bean burger) and the fish and chips - the fish was so moist. We thought the belle Vue tavern might be better next door as it had more reviews but this was definitely better in all ways it seemed!
