Staff were friendly and welcoming, fish and chips were okay but slightly on the pricier side when accounting for all the sauces etc.

Best fish and chips I have ever tried

My partner and I had travelled from London when we visited this lovely Fish and Chip shop in Herne Bay yesterday (21/05/2022); and we will definitely be returning. The staff were super friendly and welcoming; and the food was amazing and at a very reasonable price.Would highly recommend a visit.

My favourite chip shop!I always find the chips here delicious and just right ! Their other foods they offer too are really tasty. I always make sure to come here if I want chips 😁

We went here for a change and the staff were great very accommodating we sat in the five of us even though I ordered take away when I asked for a couple of empty bags to share food out in the car I'm guessing the owner or manager insisted we came in and sat down and ate our food inside at a table. He served the food up on plates and it was well worth going here we will return so friendly and welcoming food was good too win win

I was walking past and decided to pop in for a portion of chips. They were almost cold and had gone rubbery because they'd obviously been standing around for a long time after being taken out of the fryer.I ate a few and then threw the rest in the first litter bin I could find. A complete waste of £2.00.I appreciate that it was a Sunday afternoon when trade wasn't busy, but cold rubbery chips are unacceptable.

Absolutely awful. Spent £60 on fish and chips for visiting family and it was the worst meal in a long time. Batter was hard and greasy, fish was battered with skin still on. Chips were green. Just awful

As a past Herne Bay resident, been driving from Gillingham as a regular (around once a month) Friday evening outing just to get our fish & chips from Starfish - then drive up to the top of Beacon sit and eat then walk our dogs.Great, tasty meal served by friendly staff.
