Great Italian food from Napoli. I had the seafood pasta and my friend had the quattro formaggi pizza. Both were outstanding. The restaurant is not far from the city center. Helpful Hint: There is an informative 90 minute tour of Canterbury for ÂŁ10 beginning at Christchurch gate at 11:00 AM. Take the tour and after the tour have lunch at Posillipo.

What a great find! Excellent Italian food including seafood—not your typical spaghetti and meatballs with sauce from a can. This is real cooking from scratch. Even the pasta noodles were obviously upscale. Great wines at good prices. Service top notch and friendly. Restrooms very clean. It’s only a five minute walk from the cathedral and definitely worth it.

As an Italian myself there are always 5 things I check in a restaurant I want to go to:Italian spesking staff ✓Good sourced products and authentic flavours ✓Special of the day and flexibility on the menu ✓Good Coffee ✓Clean tables and attention to customer.I was greeted by Annunziata and then served by the Slovakian manager whom I don't remember the name but was supercompetent and always checking on me.When you are alone normally tables tend to overlook you, but this time was not the case.I ordered the special of the day, a dessert and a coffee.Waiting times were spot on for what was cooked and the staff is attentive to everything that is going on on the floor.Only little cons is the gentleman's toilet has a windows in which people walking behind can see what business you are doing.I advice either put a vent and close that window, or use something else.Prices are good and the stonebaked pizza is superior to the others in town. Also a touch of class is not charging immediately the 20% on top, but letting know that anything on top goes in tips straight to waiters. That is a really class move and all business SHOULD TAKE NOTE.Do yourself a favour and try this restaurant if you live around here.

Loved this place, the food is amazing. The best goats cheese I've ever had. The staff are lovely, very personable, and helpful. It's such a nice atmosphere there, I'm really looking forward to going back.

It was ok. I asked for the mozzarella pizza,it took so long to make yet it wasn’t cooked properly. The homemade bread was straight from the fridge. We stayed there for around 2 hours and a half for all of it. But the desert is fantastic. My friends order was quite nice though. Some meals at this restaurant are nice some aren’t.If you happen to be eating there, choose a good meal.

One of us had food allergies and they did all they could go accommodate us. Food was okay but not special, steak well done rather than the medium that I requested. But pleasant place to sit and good service.

Absolutely lovely experience. Brought my elderly grandparents here for dinner having never been before and was completely blown away by the place. Cosy restaurant, perfect for a date night, with amazing food - my grandad said it was the best sea bass he’d ever had - and super lovely staff. They were smiling the whole night and chatted with us. Honestly after just one experience here this has become my favourite restaurant and I can’t wait to go back!

Had a 50th birthday lunch here and it was fantastic. The food is delicious and plentiful. The staff are welcoming and friendly. It has a lovely atmosphere. It was a leisurely lunch for 6 (couple of hours). We booked online and everything went smoothly. My dessert was decorated with birthday wishes and the restaurant sang happy birthday! Would highly recommend.

One of the best restaurants in Canterbury. Everything was delicious. To start we had caprese salad and fried calamari which was fresh and crispy. For mains we had linguine vongole and the calzone which was filled with ricotta cheese salami ham and I added some nduja to spice it up. Very delicious.Service was quick and we were moved to a better table even though it was quite busy. Will definitely visit again if I'm in Canterbury again.
