Booked for afternoon tea, some delay in it arriving which was odd as only one other table finishing their meal.We loved the combination of the two cultures being served jam and cream along with samosa. The sandwiches had great fillings but the bread was cut thickly and heavy so over filling us. The delicate sweet bites were very good and the presentation was overall good.

I had lunch with my wife here and it was excellent. We both really enjoyed the tapas and the chocolate samosa at the end was wonderful. The staff member who served us was brilliant and gave really helpful recommendations. I very much recommend the restaurant and look forward to coming again.

Had the 6 course, vegetarian tasting menu, even though we’re not veggie. Fab meal, so stuffed!!! The food was incredible, staff were so fun, especially the Spanish waiter. Definitely go, if you love Indian and love haute cuisine and fusion. Thanks guys x

Wow. Flavours, taste and displaying the food was beautiful. 12 courses on their festive menu thought I would struggle but ample gaps left between each course so just felt comfortably full at the end. Highly recommended. Thankyou

Lovely setting on a quieter street in historic Canterbury. The staff are very pleasant and the food came out in good time. The portions aren't huge but that's the intention to allow customers a chance to dine on a wider range. We had the pork spring rolls with a few other dishes and everything was delicious! Highly recommended

Cold plates, cold food. Ordered tapas style , 2 of the 4 dishes were cold so we sent them back. On return, one was warmer. The sweet potatoes on the other were hot but the sauce was cold again. Very disappointing. The food that was hot enough to eat was good though.

Angry disappointing review: Unbelievably pathetic quality and portion sizes. 22 pounds for a whole chicken and we received two chicken wings and 2 drumsticks. The 5 pounds worth of vegetable size is tragic at best. Miserable at best quantities. Never ordering again. The sides on the chicken are some vegetables (barely a soop-spoon) and a miserable looking mushed potato (again barely 1 spoon-fool). Charging 22 pounds for a chicken means that you will give the whole chicken. Overcharging and underachieving.

Absolutely wonderful! The food was incredible, with amazing choice as vegans. Such wonderful flavours! Wow. Delightful atmosphere with charming piano in the background, friendly, professional staff and heavenly food. Highly recommend for a really special dining experience.

Great food and nice staff. Sadly let down on this occasion by the lengthy wait for food. By this I mean it took nearly 3 hours for a 2 course meal, but that was due to there only being 1 chef on the day, and the other staff did their best.

Had breakfast at the Ambrette in Canterbury this morning. Had the Indian style vegetarian choice. Blown away! Fabulous array of wonderful flavours and far more than generous proportions!! Wonderful food in, what for us are incredibly attractive and relaxing surroundings. Huge, huge recommendations.
