The Bottle Shop in Canterbury

Went in with the intention of spending a lot of money on wine. Unfortunately when asking the woman behind the counter (short curly brown hair and talking loudly on her mobile phone when I arrived) for advice, she didn’t have a clue about any of it and was actually very rude to me. Will NOT be returning!!

Went into the shop at 11.20am today. The young girl behind the counter didn't know what I meant when I asked for a recommendation of a vintage bottle of champagne to lay down. She looked vague. I asked if she knew what I meant by laid down. Ans "no" I asked if she knew what I meant by Vintage again ans "no" I asked if there was anyone out the back of the shop who could help ans "no". We looked at one another then she said " there will be someone here at about 5.30. I left. It was so awful I found it very funny. Seriously the trouble is I had driven specifically 10 miles on the strength of this web site and reviews . I would suggest that if customers need advice and customer service don't bother it's not worth it.
