This was my first time at the Chimney Pot and the service was good. Food was lovely and well presented, we will definitely go again, I highly recommend it

Last time I went, the chef bought our food out in an apron that looked like it had been worn for a month already. Food wasn't bad but didn't stand out. Pricy

Amazing place to eat. I always get the eggs Benedict, and other than one time, it's been amazing every time. The one time it was off, I had told the waitress how much I enjoyed the eggs Benedict here, and how it was the only thing I ordered every time I came, and she noticed immediately that something was wrong after I took my first bite. Apparently they had tried something different with the hollandaise, and it wasn't good. The waitress immediately replaced my order with another eggs Benedict without the hollandaise. The next time I visited, o ordered the eggs Benedict, and it was back to being perfect. Every time I have friends or family in from town, I bring them here. While I only order the eggs Benedict, I have taken bites of my friends meals, and I can say the panini's, sandwiches, and other dishes are absolutely superb. Whenever I meet up with someone I've never met before this is where I request we eat. I've never been disappointed and it will continue to be my first choice restaurant. Support local non-chain restaurants, and give The Chimney Pot your repeat business.

Charged me £13.50 for poached eggs on toast with beans, mushrooms, sausage and hash brown. Literally the most expensive fried breakfast ever made!!! Toast was like bread, mushrooms were not great, hash browns were just full of onions! Absolutely disappointing for £13.50 i was expecting something special for a price like that!!! Won't be going back based on those ridiculously high prices!

In the mood for just a really good, homemade sandwich? Offers fresh tasting sandwiches on lovely slices of thick bread, served with crisps and a side salad. Sometimes, it's exactly what you want. Especially nice on a warm summers day and you don't want to fill up too much. Friendly and fast service, and fare at good prices.

Had a lovely lunch here with my sister in law and baby son today, they were so accommodating to my little boy and have great baby facilities! Food was amazing and so well priced! Will be back xx
